        My wife and I found our stay here pleasant. Our room was clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable and the room spacious. The staff were professional, friendly and helpful. The snack shop kiosk was very convenient. The food at the restaurant was excellent. The waiter was professional and friendly as well. Unfortunately I forgot his name, but a real gentleman. We will definitely book here on our next visit.

        Very easy nothing special type of hotel. Came for a weekend and didn’t love it - the rooms are spacious, very comfortable bed (pillows not so much) but to me a hotel must be clean and there were still some hairs on the bathroom floor. On one morning when cleaning knocked at 9:30 asking to clean the room I said I was about to leave, finishing to get ready, and that they could come back later. But they never did so my room wasn’t freshened up. Location very convenient and overall reception staff very friendly.

        Really friendly team, very willing to assist. Room and bathroom were great. The only slight negative was the lack of storage space and the proximity of the wardrobe to the bed. It made it more cramped than necessary as the room was large enough. Also very few drawers. The room and bathroom servicing and provision of e.g. umbrella's was appreciated. Overall we had a great stay and would certainly return.

        All in all, we had a very frustrating experience at the BGH. It would seem a new check-in system has recently been installed at the hotel and - despite staff's best efforts - adequate training has not been provided. Our check in process took the best part of 20 minutes despite there being no queue. My room was very poorly equipped. Despite the cost there was no water in the room, towels were very small and the room temperature control was either not working or deliberately fixed at a certain temperature by the hotel. This meant the room was consistently over 23.5°C even after I opened the window which made it very difficult to sleep. My room was also a twin room, despite booking a double. When I went back to the check-in desk to raise this the response was relatively unhelpful and didn't acknowledge any error on the hotel's part. Finally at checkout, I was charged €65 as city tax, despite my booking invoice saying this would be €25. I queried this and was told that this was because breakfast had also been included. I then showed our invoice explaining that we had paid for a rate including breakfast. The receptionist (who I should say was trying her best to help and was v apologetic) then told me this would reduce to €60, still significantly more than out invoice suggested. Reluctantly, because I was now 20 mins late for my meeting, I paid the bill and was told the hotel would contact me directly to sort the situation.i very much doubt I will hear from the hotel... Finally, I would genuinely query the basis on which this hotel is a 5 star establishment. The hotel looks smart, but neither service nor facilities are even close to 5 star on quality (they are probably 3 at best). A very disappointing experience and I would appreciate the hotel contacting me directly to discuss.

        Great small hotel with great service. They even offer candies and a drink at the front desk and fresh apples on each floor. Rooms are roomy, updated and have arm chairs which is nice addional seating. Even have rain showers.

          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

          Modification and Reschedule Policy

          After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
