I absolutely love the history and architecture of this hotel. But what makes it the best in downtown LA is the staff they have there. Most of the staff we spoke to had been there for years. Paul at the Bell desk has 30+ years in, was extremely helpful And friendly, and gave us a great explanation of the history of the hotel as we were checking in. Eric at the bar was amazing. Super friendly, had great conversation and of course he gave us the best service. The front desk was amazing as well, accommodating us when we needed to move rooms, Without a question or charge. This will be our go to hotel when visiting downtown LA moving forward. Highly recommend.

Staff is very friendly! The rooms are really nice and affordable. They have pictures of the casts from every different movie that’s been shot here which is a pretty neat experience! And you’re located at the heart of Los Angeles where there’s tons of night life and restaurants! We had a great time here

First, let me start off with the positive remarks: the bell staff, front door personnel on both the lobby and ground floor were very helpful and friendly. However, the bar staff overlooked me for several minutes without acknowledging my presence until a bar back offered his assistance. Breakfast in the ground floor restaurant the food was prepared to my request which was a positive sign, but for the prices it was a bit disappointing in that I had to request a proper fork. They left with a dessert fork. The room was clean and reasonably priced.

Rate it a 2.5 (taught .5 means round up). As most reviews, the location is good. There are a lot of restaurants and places in walking distance. Various Metro lines in the area, too. The hotel lobby & look throughout is historically elegant & beautiful. Unfortunately, front desk personnel energy was not as welcoming or beautiful. They were not accommodating & seem annoyed at times. I could not check in at 2 p.m. without being informed of the $50 early check-in fee. Gentleman at the front desk offered to take my name and hold a room for me until 3p. So do not try to check in an hour early if you want to avoid the fee. Wait until 29min or later to approach the front desk (unless there's a long line, enough time may pass before you reach the desk). All the other staff outside the front desk personnel (Biltmore, you need to realize this is your guests' first real interaction. Get it together) were very friendly and helpful. However, the main reason I would not consider staying here again it the paper thin walls. You can clearly hear the conversation of the guest in the rooms next door to you, the housekeepers and room service conversations in the hallways in the mornings and the main doors to every room slam shut every time. Therefore, if you want to sleep past 8a, be aware of the morning conversations in hallways & doors slamming. If you want to go to sleep early at night, be aware that if the guest in the rooms next to you hang out late, you may hear them talking, laughing, etc at night. They really need to fix the hydraulics on the door mechanism or add door seal strips to soften the sound.

Nice hotel with great history, great location. I wish the staff was more friendly and welcoming and some sound proofing would be perfect since it’s very noisy. The room was good and clean. To get to the parking lot you need to use two elevators and when you ask someone at the desk for help they would reply “I don’t know I don’t work at parking”.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
