The rooms are pretty spacious. We booked the queen bedroom. They're not huge but definitely fine for 2 people and a child. The fridge in our room fit a lot of drinks. The shower had hot water and nice pressure, as well as two big towels, a floor towel and a bunch of smaller ones. The room had a heater/ air conditioner that worked great. My only complaints are that when I went to use the provided creamer in the room, every single one was spoiled. Also, the big tan blanket had brown and black spots on it, which it didn't notice until after using it because I didn't open it all the way. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The breakfast wasn't great, food and drinks were watered down but it was free so. The hotel has a pool and hot tub, and the hot tub was available to use in January. I would probably stay here again. It's close to so many things.

I was totally blown away by the value of this gem in Estes Park. The rooms were immaculately clean and recently remodeled and posh. The continental breakfast was delicious. The staff were very friendly. We will definitely be returning here for our next stay in Estes Park.

I originally used a third party service to reserve a room here, but had messed up the dates of the booking! On a vacation, when you want everything to go as perfectly as it can, this was not ideal. However, when I told the staff about my mistake, they showed me incredible kindness and helped me to book a nicer room for similar cost at the last minute. The staff at the blue door inn reflect this level of hospitality in everything that they do, it is why I’ve stayed here twice now, why I will continue to stay here on my visits to Estes, and why you should stay here too! The amenities, such as their pool, hot tub, and fire pit are all well maintained. The rooms have always been very clean, and I always feel safe and comfortable staying here.
