        Stayed here for 2 nights in a junior suite and enjoyed our time. The room is spacious and the hotel is in a good location walking distance to everything in town. Free breakfast is served from 7-11 AM. Biggest downsides is our bed and pillows weren't soft and the shower was difficult to control the temperature.

        Please stay elsewhere. Very dishonest hotel. Like many other reviews on all booking platforms including google, I wish we did more research and checked all reviews before booking this hotel. The Air Conditioner appears to be an on going complaint by guests who have stayed, they advertise the room with a functioning AC however it’s definitely far from the truth. We arrived to Florence on a 40 degree day, we arrived and checked in at reception in the evening. Reception did not mention anything about the room having any issues or faults when checking in. We entered our room to find the AC not functioning. Over a 24Hr period, different receptionist advised us different lies, excuses and promises over the broken air con system. One saying the AC broke the morning before, then telling us it will be fixed in the morning and then a different receptionist advising the AC can not be repaired whilst we are staying in the rooms. We heard many different excuses and no action. Their solution was a portable AC, though they had none left for that night. The next day, we walked through the corridor when cleaners were cleaning other rooms, we noticed most rooms had portable AC units with windows open, it also confirmed the hotel has had a broken AC system for who knows how long, there are portable air con’s everywhere. We cut our stay short and moved hotels asap as we were disappointed in the lies and dishonesty from all staff at the hotel. When checking out, we questioned reception why they did not advise us of the broken AC when we checked in, their response was “the guests before you didn’t complain” . They were still ok with advertising the room online with a functioning AC unit though. Very dishonest and misleading, please do yourself a favour and stay else where with a working air conditioner.

        Horrible - this place is beyond bad. The lobby is decorated with modest furniture. There is one small lift (good luck if you have large luggage) that takes you to just two floors above. The door of lift opens to a narrow bridge that connects you to adjacent building where there is a narrow corridor with rooms. The size of our room was approximately one foot (each-side) larger than bed. The bed was not comfortable. Our room smelled musty and was so small that two of us could not walk in the room at the same time. Room had cheap quality amenities. I could describe our room as: -Leaking ceiling (hazardous), -Electrical wires that hanging below the TV (dangerous), -Mold on the walls (health issue), -Broken thermostat and non-functional AC, -Windows that are neither air tight, nor doubled, nor sound proof, -Clogged shower, -Shower was so small that I could not freely move my hands above my head to wash my hair, -The space of toilet was so tight that a person with large body can hardly sit and stand up, -A pathetic night light nailed to the wall, -No furniture in the room, -The room was so small that we had to put our 2 small flight carry-on one on the top of the other. We asked to change the room, but we were told that all the rooms are similar. Breakfast offers a variety of items still in their supermarket packages. The worst ever possible value for the money. Do yourself a favour and search for other hotels.

        Really bad! Mould in the bathroom, plastering falling off the wall, broken switches, noisy (doors and windows felt like they were not even there), poor breakfast and no response from management when I complained. I don’t know how this hotel gained 4*?! Worst experience ever and I travel a lot! Please avoid this hotel as it looks and feels more like a hostel than a 4* hotel

        Room was quite large (had an executive room)but room and hotel lacked a bit of character. Bedsheets could have been more comfortable but room cleaned every day. Very good location and staff. If you want a reliable hotel centrally located with a good price for the area this is a good option . If you are looking for a hotel in which it is the destination, better to look elsewhere. Do not bring a car here. Restricted traffic zone. We parked the car we had in a garage for a few days and never needed it. Everything is within 15 minutes walking .
