Location’s really good! Minutes’ walk from the Emporium and Elizabeth street where shopping is. The rooms were of good sizes. We had to upgrade our room as a friend was joining us mid trip and we were given a night free which we really appreciated. There were definitely points to improve (housekeeping could be a little cleaner for the upgraded room), external windows weren’t clear to see the views properly, but if you’re not fussy with the small stuff, it’s definitely worth staying here. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We loved the 24hr gym as well.

I highly recommend this hotel as it was a lovely room, with comfortable beds, in a great location. Hardware Lane is just next door with all of its restaurants, bars and cafes. Two bedrooms with two bathrooms really suited our group of 3, and there was plenty of room to relax. We spent the night at Club Retro across the road, which is a nightclub that plays music from the 70s up to today. It was so great to get there and back in less than 30 seconds! The only tiny issue for us was that the parking garage was a bit of a walk away. When we arrived, it would only let us come out on the other side so we had to walk quite a few blocks to get to the hotel. On the way back, it was bucketing down with rain, so we got absolutely saturated. But, otherwise, everything was perfect!

This apartment hotel is in a great location. The staff were excellent. The apartment is simple but comfortable. However I booked a room with a balcony hoping to be able to open the window and sit with fresh air coming in. Sadly I was disappointed to find that the balcony overlooked the noisy extractor fans of the next building and it was not possible to have the window open!

A very disappointing experience. Upon entering our room there was a terrible odour which lasted our whole 4 night stay. We notified staff and nothing changed. We hunted for a hotel with space and a balcony to enjoy the views and fresh air and unfortunately the balcony had no seats and the view was terrible as it overlooked a very noisy air conditioning system from another apartment building (see photo). We had high expectations from the photos and mostly positive reviews. The carpets had stains and streaks, there was a lot of dust on the furniture in the room and in the bathroom shelves so I didn’t want to place my belongings in there. Positives were the size of the apartment, the bathroom was decent and the location of the hotel IF you want to be amongst the busy CBD atmosphere. Plenty of shopping, dining and trams walking distance away but this is definitely not a luxurious apartment if travelling for leisure and I did not feel relaxed being in this hotel due to the horrible smell and average interior.

Would definitely go back to this hotel... love everything about this hotel. The location is magnificent…walking distance to many restaurants, shopping center, queen victoria market, and even a church (we went on Christmas holiday, so having a church within 2 min walk is trully a bonus) They keep the hotel simple, but clean n cosy. The 2 bedroom city view was perfectly fit the 4 of us. They had a laundry room for the guests, so we can do our own laundry anytime. They also had a gym room, not to big but comfortable enough. enough n comfortable. Really recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Melb.
