        We had to use this hotel last week 21/01/2024 due to flight delays. Rang about 23.00 and they were so helpful. We had a family room which was reasonably priced. The room was nice though had dust in places where could be reached easily and the bathroom sink blocked, but beds were big and comfortable. They have a Miller and Carter in the hotel. The hotel is amazing inside and just worth going in to see the rooms so nicely decorated. Staff friendly and welcoming. This is situated on College Green in Bristol and central to shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend and stay again..

        Me and my family loved our stay here, took my boy for the first time and he was in shock at the lobby, he absolutely loved it! He was gifted a little teddy bear and a box of chocolates when we arrived and the wife was given a little glass of bubbles! The staff were super polite and friendly, professional and extremely welcoming. Felt like royalty! The room was clean and just to our needs, small fridge with the couple cans of water, tea, coffee biscuits etc.. The air conditioning works which I always enjoy all year round. This isn’t me and my wife’s first stay and certainly not our last. Location and parking within the hotel is great for shopping and close to the aquarium which we enjoyed! We were given complimentary parking which for us just added that little of making us feel welcome and it was greatly appreciated!! Thanks and see you again soon!

        My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. We had a lovely, spacious, clean room with a welcome gift, a little Ascot Teddy Bear and a box of chocolate with a personalised written note with well wishes for my son’s competition. That was extremely thoughtful, thanks to Sylvie at the reception for her wonderful customer service and to Hrishi for sorting our car park. Will return when visiting Bristol again.

        Have stayed at this hotel many times because of close proximity to Bristol Hippodrome and always been pleased BUT will not use again. The room clearly had not been cleaned properly for some time: thick dark dust on the lampshade in the seating area, unclean desk, food particles on the bathroom door, thick black mould in the wash basin overflow, orange/brown mould on the shower screen and tiling grout. I was looking forward to using the coffee machine but sadly Housekeeping failed us there as well: the coffee pod box was empty. The heating could not be turned down and it was too hot but if you opened the window there was traffic noise, so it was a complete trade off: can't sleep because of heat or noise. I do not expect to pay over £200 for an unclean room and I definitely won't again! We were only there for one night and were out a lot of it. When I mentioned to Reception upon Check out, I received a very surly Sorry and was dismissively asked to email them. When I did email, they clearly did not read it and kept referring to the Common areas, which were absolutely fine and I did not complain about. At no point did I ask for a refund or any compensation and they offered nothing by way of a gesture of goodwill that might encourage me to book again, giving the hotel an opportunity to ensure the room was cleaned for me next time. I have had cleaner rooms in 2* and 3* hotels - this is definitely not 4* standard and neither is their Customer relations.

        Stayed here a few times and would always be my first choice when visiting Bristol. The rooms are fairly spacious but starting to look a little shabbier than I remember from my last visit. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and the lobby is striking. I would probably give it five stars but it feels that, as it has become more expensive, the value for money isn't quite there any more. We didn't eat breakfast here as it quite expensive but I have had it previously and remember it being very good. Some of the rooms do have quite a good view over the centre of Bristol.
