        Very rundown hotel. Surly manager but very pleasant assistant who seemed to have to do everything. Breakfast choice was very limited and poor. For example Cornflakes was the only cereal on offer. Room was cold when we arrived - luckily the radiator worked! Comfy bed but overall very poor value for money. I would not recommend staying here until it has a substantial upgrade. Disappointing really from a big chain - OYO.

        Please do not stay at this hotel as its heating doesn't work and the rooms were freezing the plumbing was useless making it impossible to get a bath or shower. They put a small electric radiator in each room that was useless. They wouldn't give a refund as they said the room was clean but that wasn't what I complained about. The hotel desperately needs to be refurbished to bring it to a good standard.

        The best city escape ever!! The staff is super helpful and friendly, they made us feel like a part of the family. The room was cosy and clean, with a massive flat screen tv. They cook amazing indian food, easily one of the best I’ve eaten. The breakfast was lovely and they are very flexible with the time it starts and ends. Generally, the management will go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable and convenient as possible. Hugely recommend them! Nice rural scenery around the hotel as a bonus

        OYO cancelled my pre-booked room at 1850 and I arrived at 1905! - I was told there had been some confusion and there was a room for me but I had to pay directly (£85 for a room - which was expensive for the quality of the hotel) and I would get a refund from booking.con Room was clean with everything you need and the staff (family) were helpful …but * the hotel needs a refurb * my room and sheets smelt of damp * the bathmat was damp (from prev guest?).

        We was booked in for a four night stay of this weekend! We got to the room and then had to leave! The man who run it was really nice guy but the hotel really needs updating! The smell was bad, the damp through-out the property gets on your chest and we was only there 5mins at the max which for the whole time travelling to find somewhere else I was really struggling with my chest! it wasn’t clean, dust, dead flies and the deco needs to choose which style it’s going to be rather than a mix of everything! I do wish Rodger all the best in the future, he genuinely is a nice guy!
