We stayed at CAIS in Nov 2022. Room: modern, spacious (great when you’re in Lisbon for a few nights), lift available. Location: both good (walkable to both Chiado and near the water/Time Out market) and bad (right above Pink Street that can be very loud with the night life and bar scene). 2 main entrances: upper (closer to Chiado and safer), lower (Pink Street and quite dirty and we didn’t feel very safe) Service: no reception, need to arrange for check-in time, might need to wait.

This place is a decent value - clean rooms, centric location, free beers upon arrival. However we had two significant issues: (1) the parking garage (available for €20) is so tight/steep we couldn’t fit our car (a midsize crossover) and had to park in a public lot a few blocks over (€29/day) (2) two men barged into our room in the early morning while we were sleeping … we immediately contacted the hotel and were told not to worry because it was “just staff” as if that were an acceptable reason to be abruptly awakened by two men walking into a private hotel room with a key…

I had booked a stay here after reading great reviews about the property, location, service etc. However, we had to cancel our trip due to unforeseen circumstances. Nuno, the manager was very understanding and helpful and helped us throughout the cancellation process. We will definitely stay at Cais whenever we plan a trip to Lisbon next.

The two stars are based on the quality of sleep, which was awful. There is a nighclub next door, and you can listen music and feel the vibration until 4am! I should have suspected when I saw the earplugs offered by the accommodation! Maybe other rooms don't get it as bad as mine did, I stayed in the Studio. The room was very nice and service was great, in every detail, but that all can't erase the fact that you can't get a decent night of sleep.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
