Worked here for a couple of weeks! Got fired because I was on probation…the manager tells me they can fire me anytime so they did….Like how is he the manager here?!!!! I’ll be bluntly honest…Worst experience ever! A lot of discrimination and harassment at the workplace, couldn’t complain because they have made gangs there, my first day on they started hanging up on me and passing unwanted catcalls! Ridiculous! They’ve made a joke out of Michelin stars and service standards! The managers are psychos and have lowered standards of professionalism and service to a whole different level! I hope they don’t follow me around in town taking the streets for being honest and adhering the standards in life and in service.

Had to get a chemo port put in and was afraid to be late for the 7:30 a.m. surgery with the morning traffic, so stayed at Canad Inn Health Science Center. . Had to be moved rooms 3 times, the first as no heat (and they shut off the hot water at 11:30 p.m. for "maintenance" so I was up against a time limit for showering), then BEDBUGS requiring a second move after the surgery, all when I was in recovery the same day as the surgery. I saw that there are many Indigenous people at this hotel, many of whom likely traveled very far to get to HSC and treatment, so this is extra disgusting. One gentleman (when I was checking out) heard me complain about having had only a tiny discount in consideration of the horrible experiences) said that he'd had a terrible experience the year before but had hoped that the situation had improved this time. I told him that this wasn't the only hotel, but of course, many Indigenous people do not experience welcome at many places and may not know Winnipeg well, and not even feeling safe, especially when undergoing medical procedures. How predatory! I can hardly wait until the new building purchases that are being converted into Indigenous care facilities are completed. I can certainly see why they are needed. Shame! Corporate predators. Try to avoid this hotel if at all possible, EVERYONE.

The staff was mean towards us, but the rooms and everything was amazing and the beds where really really good. It was just the people outside and inside doing drugs and smoking in the building as the hallways smelled like weed and than the needles on the floor in the elevators with so many weird people. Yes it is downtown Winnipeg so what do you expect..

When you arrive here, you will be welcomed by a dozen “locals” enjoying smoking, within arms length of the door, well inside the posted , “no smoking within 45 feet from entrance”. Then once inside, you will see 2-3 “imported “ security guards on their phones doing zero to remove the smokers, or , keep the rif raf from making a mess. Talking on cell phones just there to get a paycheque. Its 10:45 pm and you will get to enjoy very young kids running around the reception area, unsupervised and or just being ignored by their parent. The worst part is that if your going to the hospital for a appointment, and have to use this entrance, its unacceptable to have to take your family members into this environment, and have to weave in and out of natives who just make this area their local hang out. Disgusting and unacceptable. Clean it up !!

Decent hotel chain but horrible location next to HSC. Every time we left our room we were bombarded with sketchy guys wanting smokes and getting angry if they didn't get what they want. Not ideal for my wife that's for sure.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
