I loved my stay at the Canopy Hilton! The vibes are perfect with beautiful decor and lots of amenities. My room was small but I adored it. My only complaint is that I was told at the lobby that I was getting a room upgrade, but when I arrived the bed wasn't a king like I had paid for. Not a huge deal but something to be aware of. The maid service waa excellent. Extremely clean and fixed up my room for me daily.

Extremely disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. As a loyal customer to the brand, I had high expectations, but this particular location fell far short. Upon arrival, despite checking in through the app and selecting my preferred room, I was informed that it wasn't ready and was assigned a room on a lower floor without any apology or explanation for the discrepancy. Adding to the frustration was the confusion surrounding their destination fee. In the morning, I was assured over the phone that I could utilize two nights' worth of fees at once, but later that night, I was told otherwise. This inconsistency and lack of clarity only added to the overall negative experience. The service was appalling; the staff showed no regard for the inconvenience caused and failed to provide any adequate resolution. Not only did this experience ruin my stay, but it also made me question the quality of this brand's standards. I will never consider staying at this hotel again, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. It's unfortunate that such a renowned brand could allow such a disappointing experience to tarnish their reputation. Save yourself the trouble and avoid staying here.

In my case, I was solo and attending conference at the Moscone Center. So glad I chose Canopy for my stay. Great location, loved the room set up, awesome shower, comfy bed, quiet, and nice amenities. Very clean and modern. Loved the rooftop bar/restaurant. Friends who were staying elsewhere were jealous when they saw it all…

Really bad hotel experience. Never stay with them. One of the worst hotels in SF. I like the brand, but this hotel is really upset, which makes question this brand. Service is really bad. I checked in on the app, chose my room. But when I arrived, they said, the room is not ready because the room is not clean, and they gave me a room on a lower level. I prefer to stay higher, but what do you mean when you gave me a lower floor??? And why they didn't clean it given that I've already checked in? Why you have an app? And they shows no apology, is that because I'm an Asian? Racist.... As for the destination fee for 30 per night. I called them in the morning to ask whether I can use 60 for two nights at the same time, and their answer in the morning was yes. But at night they said no. Really bad experience and cause a lot of confusion. I will not stay in this hotel again, and I will not recommend it to any of my friends, because staying here is one of the worst experiences in SF. NEVER stay with it

Another hotel with potential but is ruined by terrible management. I highly recommend you stay elsewhere. 1. The rooms are tiny and poorly designed, they are all flash but uncomfortable especially if you are coming with another person. Flashy exteriors with nonfunctional showers, thermostats that do not function. No water bottles provided for diamond members and broken water refill stations. 2. Hidden fees that should qualify as junk fees. They charge a destination fee that doesn't actually offer any benefit. The breakfast in the cafe on the ground floor is garbage. Reheated trash that is non-customizable because it was likely prepared 4 days ago and sat in a fridge. Bad coffee that is somehow worse than the nespresso machine in the room. 3. Part of the destination fee is that they offer "complimentary" bicycle rentals... fun fact though is they have ONLY 2 bikes for the entire hotel and those bikes don't even work so you can't even rent them. I was told there was nothing they could do about it. They only refunded my destination fee after I filed an official complaint with the Hilton Diamond Desk. 4. The property is poorly maintained. Our shower was disgusting. It didn't drain properly and just constantly flooded and would even leak into the hallway outside the shower so had to leave a towel in the TINY hallway between the door and the bedroom. It seems like they cut so many corners when they were renovating this property and it shows. 5. Incredibly rude staff. Management at this property are just rude and act like you should be thanking them for staying at their overpriced hotel. Leanne and Rogelio straight up would lie to your face or ignore you. The only benefit of this hotel is the proximity to the Moscone center but for the same price you could stay at the JW Marriott, Marriott Marquis, or for a little more the St. Regis and get an actual enjoyable stay.
