Loved this place!! I had a really nice time at this backpacker place. The owners are both super welcoming and friendly, and gonna help with any question that you have. Also they some really good traveling advices for you! Personally I enjoyed my little capsule, in my opinion it even grants you more privacy then a normal backpacker dorm since you can close it. Another highlight of mine were the surfing lesson I got there. John, the surf instructor was a really cool and chilled guy, who really impersonated what surfing means. He gave helpful Tipps and you can tell he’s an expert. Would love to come back one day!! Wish you the best guys! 🫶🏼

Just not happy with the food from the Pizzaria. I hope it can soon increase in taste. The pizzas are ok. (We ordered more than once) they could have used a bit more time in the oven to get the cheese melted properly. The oven might have been too hot because one whole side of the pizza was crusted black like toast and the toppings looked and tasted as if they were just warmed up. Its really just a bit bland without a good base and herbs too. The Lasagna is very starchy and very bland. It tasted like a pre-frozen pre- made meal. I dont know how I feel about the taste of mince in Cape Town. A lot of potential with the menu - just needs a bit more oehmf. And unfortunately extremely overpriced for the lack of quality. Fairly disappointed. :(

A huge thank you to Maryna and her team at Cape Capsules. My staff had an awesome stay there while on life saving training and we will be sure to make use of them in future again. Maryna went out of her way to make my staff feel welcome.

I've stayed at a lot of hostels before and I believe this was my worst experience so far. I believe if this place would have an inspection, it would be shut down - I am surprised it is legal for a place like this to operate as a hostel. The hostel was dirty (the sheets had stains, I had to cover them with my beach towel to be able to lay down and had to use a t-shirt as a pillow case), the room was not really a room - it is more like a sketchy wooden veranda structure they've built on top of their pizza place - where you don't even have walls. We couldn't sleep at all as the noise from the refrigerator was insanely loud during the whole night. I'm just in shock that they can operate such a horrible place and not be shut down. I would not advise ANYONE to stay here - don't make the same mistake we did! Also, as soon as you arrive, the owners give you all these extra charges you have to pay, it felt very dishonest and just a way to make a quick buck outside booking. We've asked for an early check out and ran away as early as we could - horrible, horrible experience.

Thanks Capsules for The Most Amazing Hospitality and Awesome stay at your Place. The rooms, Showers, Pizzeria, and Immaculate, Hygenic conditions are more than up to standard. Mike and Marayna are such Awesome Hosts. We had soo much Fun. Home away from Home. I didnt even have time to miss my home. I will most certainly be back to stay on my next Holiday. I will recommend Capsules anytime to anyone. Missing you guys already. Tons of Love Shelley and Joan.
