We had a very beautiful stay at the 31 Jarvis guesthouse, which we occupied in its entirety as a group of 11 people. The guesthouse is in a very beautiful and safe neighborhood and has all the amenities one might need, including a spacious common area with dining table, fridge etc. and a very nice courtyard. One of the rooms also has a private rooftop but it's only accessible through the room itself, so if it might not always be available. The whole team of Cape Finest provided the best service to us before and during our stay! They provided an extra bed for us so that we could all stay together, smoothly welcomed us in the guesthouse upon arrival, gifted cookies and wine bottles and took care of our luggage after check-out on our last day. All in all very highly recommended for both first-timers in Cape Town and people that know the city already!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Perfect stay, Will and Sam are really great host and they have been really helpful with any request but all the staff here is really friendly. If you are going to be in Cape Town, I highly recommend to stay here. Location is good, very safe and close to many restaurants. Rooms, service all excellent! As other reviews mentioned, you feel like at home.

We stayed for a week this July, and loved every second of being there. Willy, Sam, and the whole staff were amazing the entire time. We loved our room (Room 5), which had a great view out towards the harbor and a wonderful shower. The breakfast service every morning was so nice, made fresh to order, with plenty of surprises along the way. We had many early morning excursions, and they bent the rules to help us get some food before we left, which was way too kind. The location is excellent, nestled in a quite neighborhood with great restaurants (check out Cafe Manhattan!), close to the V&A and the CBD. This made it so easy to hit awesome spots in town and then come home to our cozy B&B. After we left, we discovered that we forgot several items. They kept them for us, and I was able to retrieve them when we swung back through Cape Town at the end of our vacation. Just wonderful people. I wish we were there in summer, so we could have enjoyed the beautiful roof deck!

Would give more than 5 stars if I could! Location is great- very cute and safe area. The rooms are convenient and very clean, and the house is decorated so beautifully. Our host Sam was so kind and helpful and prepared breakfast for us every morning. Really easy to Uber from here to any location. Would recommend this for any visitor to Capetown. The roof is also very nice to watch the sunrise.
