        All in all, this is NOT a 4 star hotel and not worth the money spent on it. Arrived 20 minutes before check in and were very rudely told that we were too early to check in and would have to wait, which is fine, we sat and waited, but then were told 5 minutes later that we could now check in. Seemed like a bit of a power play, but tried not to let it affect our perception. Were told we could only pay cash for the deposit, which was odd. Had to pay R100 for parking per day, which is crazy when you have already payed for the room. Ordered 2 meals from room service and they arrived on one plate. Apparently the chef was "too busy". Left the hotel by car in the evening, came back and were told there was no parking in the area where we had parked, and we would have to park in the basement. This would have been okay, but there was no elevator, so my mom with a back injury had to walk up a flight of stairs.

        Living in a Construction Zone Among Work Cars" It's the worst hotel I've been so I decided to tell all problems. My recent stay at this hotel turned out to be extremely unpleasant. Here are a few points that potential guests should consider: 1. Unbearable Construction Noise: The construction right under the window starts early in the morning and continues throughout the day, making it feel like the workers and their work cars are operating right in your room. Due to poor sound insulation, rest and sleep become impossible. 2. Lying by Staff: Despite assurances from the hotel staff that there would be no noise from 4:00 PM to 9:00 AM, the construction resumed at 7:30 AM. 3. Inconvenience with Power Outlets: The room for two has only one European standard socket, and there are no adapters available. 4. Wi-Fi Issues: The internet did not work during my entire stay, and the reception only noted that "work is being done." 5. Unexpected Power Outage: One evening, the electricity went out suddenly, and the hotel staff did not warn the guests in advance. 6. Demand for Additional Fees at Check-In: Additional payment was demanded upon check-in, and judging by other reviews, the return of these funds is not guaranteed. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel for a stay, especially if you value peace and comfort.

        Unacceptable to call this a 4 star hotel. From the moment we walked in the staff were constantly questioning us and acting strangely. We requested extra linens for the bed in our suite as we had a friend staying with us. They declined and said they do not do extra beds even though there was plenty of space. The next day we arrived back at our hotel and we were LOCKED out of our room! When asking the staff why they did this, it was because they required us to pay for an extra bed.. That was inconsistent with what we were told before. I questioned why the manager would lock us out of our own room. He replied "it's policy". I have never heard of such a policy and would stick away from this hotel. Unfriendly staff, unprofessional and not a good vibe overall. If you were stranded in Cape Town this may have been a satisfactory option but with that many options in Cape town, this is not the one. As if the service wasn't bad enough during our stay, checkout was another issue. The staff on shift checking us out insisted we had taken wine from the mini fridge. We did not touch the mini fridge since our arrival. After some back and forth and having to explain ourselves once again, they let it go. If you enjoy a prison style treatment, this is the hotel for you. If you prefer professionalism and friendliness find somewhere else. One good thing to note was the lady working at the bar, Janine. She was friendly, professional and accommodating.

        No way on earth this is a 4 star hotel.. Rooms are dark musty and they have an aircon that keeps the entire neighborhood awake..1 ancient kettle 4 tumblers and that's about it. You have been warned.. Stay and regret after checking out.. R200 deposit plus R100 a day parking..

        CAPE Town Lodge Hotel ... catering is fantastic, and the location is ideal if you visit Sea Point and surroundings!!! We had a fantastic conference, catering was excellent!!! Staff is very friendly, and they go the extra mile to make sure you get the best experience. The manager introduced herself and was making realy effort in assuring all our needs are fulfilled!!!
