        We stayed for one night and we loved the location and the lobby. It was overall nice, although we didn’t spend much time in the hotel. I agree with most reviewers that the rooms were dirty. It was cleaned up and neat, but it seems they don’t mop or do deep cleaning. The floor was very dirty and the furniture was stained and seemed dirty from wear over time. They don’t have phones so it does take a while to contact front desk via phone. It is a great location to stay if you are having a party or just want a place to stay while you enjoy the location. Not a great place if you are looking for luxury accommodations.

        Please be aware that we did not actually stay at this hotel. Our decision to cancel our reservation was influenced by the poor communication we experienced prior to our trip. Initially, we contacted the hotel to confirm the availability of cribs. The receptionist assured us that they provided cribs and advised us to request one close to our arrival date. Based on this information, we proceeded to book through a travel agent. However, after reading a review stating that the hotel did not offer cribs, we called again for clarification. This time, a different receptionist confirmed that they indeed do not have cribs. During this conversation, my wife suggested that the hotel should improve staff training in a firm but respectful manner. The response from the staff member was to abruptly end the call. We were open to discussing alternative arrangements, possibly using a travel crib, but the unprofessional response dissuaded us. As a result of this experience, we contacted our travel agent to cancel the booking.

        The furniture in the room was not very comfortable, the balcony had not been thoroughly cleaned in a while, and the pillows were terrible. Construction is going on next door, so the views are getting smaller from the balconies. The complimentary pastries were terrible, and the fruit looked old. Coffee was good, and nobody bothered us, so that was a plus. * Get new pillows, better breakfast options, and clean your money maker (balcony). Your balconies view is why you're getting the price for your rooms. Balconies should be spotless... light fixtures, etc. Pay attention to details, and these rooms could be much better.

        We stayed in room 103 (ocean view) this January holiday weekend. Clean and tidy. No signs of cockroaches as mentioned in other reviews. Loved the personal touch of robes and slippers ready for our use- came in handy to keep our feet warm on the plank flooring. Wall mounted ac/heater worked to heat the room really well. I'm a light sleeper and kept heater/fan on all night which worked perfectly. No construction noises during our stay due to the holiday. Room was right across from the beach with a great view of the water and pier. Can hear the sound of the waves- esp in the evening and morning when boardwalk traffic dies down. Dog friendly $35 fee- it was so nice to bring our pooch along for our adventure. Free breakfast offerings of coffee/ tea, fresh fruit of apples/bananas, packaged oatmeal, and packaged baked goods (shelf stable choc crepe/ madelines). Ideal location to boardwalk, several restaurants nearby or just a 5-10mimute drive away. Highly recommend Harbor Cafe for breakfast (dogs allowed). Photos taken on morning after stay. We arrived early and were allowed a free early check-in.

        The first night was great. I loved our room and view. Clean. Then we were woken up to construction at 7am. Not the properties fault, but they should warn you. We asked to be moved to a farther room, and they tried to charge us extra for the "upgrade." So we asked to speak to a manager and she let us move without an extra charge. Unfortunately the room was dirty and small. The view was technically better, I guess. I liked the king with partial ocean view much better. Oceanview queen was cramped, and the ac was in the bathroom, so it was freezing in the bathroom and warm where the beds were. Also, the door had a missing curtain piece because It was broken. No privacy! I would come back after the construction is done!
