A mixed experience with some real highlights. Wonderful location. It’s in the thick of the island’s restaurants and bars but when you’re at the hotel you feel away from this. The gardens, beach and pool setting are all top-notch. The rooms are spacious. We had a modern room and it was comfortable and cool but perhaps a little uninspired in terms of design. The bathroom was huge with a nice outdoor shower, although this ran cool pretty quickly (not so bad in the heat!). Also, sadly, poorly insulated from the room above; we could hear loud footsteps and the sound of chairs being moved on the floor. Thankfully the family above us were in bed before us but something that should be remedied. The restaurant is the star of the show. The food is outstanding, whether you’re opting for Asian or Western cuisine. Sadly the service is very variable, always polite but often very slow. After the first night we started ordering everything in one go as the wait between courses was too long, even when doing the set four-course menu, which is offered every night. Great, cheap spa treatments too. Recommended with some reservations.

Very good atmosphere. The tropical garden is amazing. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The food at A Spice restaurant is simply wow, the prices are also decent for Europeans. We met with the owner of the Villa. He is amazing, tell us the story of how everything was built and spent some time with us, it was really interesting. Enjoy a free drink during happy hour. 3 amazing outdoor pools with amazing views. At the end of October, there were not many people around, so you can choose any sunbed. The staff hides the pillows when it rains, so you can be sure it will stay dry even after the rain. A beach is just behind, water is clear. No sea urchins or anything you can hurt your feet. The villa can offer you a motorbike rent, which is into the area so you can look around. Close to this place you can find local food stores and shops. The best thing here - you can drink tap water!

My family of four have just spent 6 days here and we had an exceptional experience. The staff are very welcoming and attentive. They are always engaging and very easy to talk to. My son enjoyed playing volleyball with the staff. The hotel is very well maintained with beautifully manicured gardens. The rooms are immaculately presented and the air conditioning means that sleeping isn't an issue. The infinity pool is beautiful and location right on the beach brilliant. The included breakfast would have to rank with one of the best I have had anywhere in the world. Every day there are different hot, fruit and sweet options. The bread and pastries are top quality and fresh. The restaurant also ranks as one of the best we have been to in Vietnam, considering the quality of food here that is no easy feat. The menu is very interesting and well prepared, we had 6 shared plates between four and came away feeling like we wouldn't need to eat for another day. It is more expensive than other options but cheap in comparison to Western standards. This place is truly amazing!

A lovely, tranquil place with mature gardens, big airy rooms with comfortable beds and crisp sheets. Wonderful pool, private beach with fabulous sunsets, it’s off the main drag so an easy walk if you want alternative places to eat. Breakfasts are hearty and tasty, the lunch and dinner menus very good (the all inclusive dinner is underwhelming, best eat a la carte). Food service was a bit patchy (plates coming at different times, sides not arriving with mains) but staff are discreet, warm and charming. It’s a great spot to relax and use as a base to explore the island. Apart from the slightly odd meal service (but delicious food), it’s an absolutely fabulous place and we’d love to come back. Highly recommended

We spent 7days (14. - 20.10.2023) with our 2 grandsons (both 15 years old) in this wonderful resort. We are fully satisfied with the general settings, the beautiful garden, “our” beach house looking directly on the ocean and most importantly the decently helpful staff. We enjoyed very much the main ( there are 2 other smaller swimming pools) pool, that is so designed that the pool looks like an extension of the ocean. The yellow sandy beach is kept clean. One can swim hours in the ocean without any contacts with plastic wastes, that happens in some other places of the Phu Quốc Island. All in all the resort contributed significantly to our lucky vacation with our grandsons. We cannot wait to come back to this wonderful location.
