I was in this hotel this weekend and I couldn’t be more grateful from the help I get from the staff. Alfredo was like a angel in my life and because of him I didn’t miss my train, this guy go beyond efforts to help me and I’m so grateful for this. Is very rare to find good people like this. Very efficient and kind men. I recomend this hotel, not in Barcelona center but very easy to get there because of bus stop in front of hotel and also much better price. Julia and maria also very helpful and nice lady’s, I wish them all the best.

We stayed in this hotel from Dec 19th to 30th. This hotel gave us one of the best experience ever. Coming from USA, we weren't sure what to expect from this place. IT WAS FANTASTIC, EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING WAS AWESOME. Cleanliness, ALL the staff members gave us the feeling of being home. We, 💯 % recommend this hotel for anyone that is traveling abroad. We cannot wait to go back to Spain and stay in LA Maquinista. Thank you so very much. We really appreciate your help 🙏

I had a six nights stay with my wife at the Hotel Catalonia La Maquinista and I would definitely go back again. Rooms are so spacious, comfortable and very clean as well. The staff was really nice and very helpful. We felt like staying in our own home. Bus stops are right next to the hotel and you can easily commute to the city using them. And also there is a Westfield shopping mall right beside the hotel if you want to do some shopping. Overall I had a really nice time at the hotel and thank you Catalonia la Maquinista. Keep up the good work.

With this prices you expect more honestly. They didn't accepted Cash at hotel. Also not very warm welcoming we had. The rooms are clean. But you get nothing more than a bet to sleep in this hotel. Towels, although clean, were too old. No coffee, no tea, not even a bottle of water which is totally normal in other hotels. There are no facilities for children in hotel or around.

Hotel was clean and tidy. Staff friendly. Breakfast options excellent. A bit of a walk to train station to head into the city. Local Westfield gave plenty of options for shopping and dining and within walking distance. No tea/coffee facilities offered.
