Honestly, it was really good. The location of course is perfect (inbetween the Leblon and Ipanema district, and one block away from Ipanema beach). The service is really good, the breakfast are good. Most important of all, good vibes. Therefore, all the guests are nice with each other. Overall, I heavily recommend this youth hostel if you’re traveling alone and you’re visiting Rio for less than a week.

Not a good hostel Really tiny There is no convivial space to meet people and enjoy a drink There is only 3 plastics tables, it’s clearly not enough. The dorms are very small, there is no space between the beds. For the price, you can find way better.

Scam alert! Very low quality of bedrooms and services in general. The window opens directly to a wall, the outlets barely work, there is little space for breakfast and you have to PAY EXTRA to have breakfast. The room I was in had this big cockroach and the shelves on the wall were loose. All the employees disrespect the facemask use (during he covid pandemic) which shows how little respect they have towards the clients. There is also loud and poor music playing all day long. There is no peace, even inside the bedrooms. Plus, there is no elevator and you have to go up narrow stairs. There are 6 floors and no one helps you carrying your baggage. This was the WORST hostel experience in my life. The only good thing was the location and you can find plenty of good hostels around that area. DO NOT BOOK IT.

Great sociable vibe definitely helped by free caipirinhas every evening, met lots of great people. Location is perfect for the beach, and pretty easy to get into central once you work out the buses which the staff will help you to do. Lots of good tour suggestions and advice too. Breakfast is OK but very sugary! The beds are comfy although top bunks are super close to the ceiling. Bathrooms not the cleanest I've seen but not terrible, and shower is decent. Kitchen and dining area way too small. When I arrived there was lots of painting and disruption but no explanation or apology given. Liked it here.

Really nice people, atmosphere, and location. But rooms are slightly older, with no curtains in the rooms and not all the lockers work.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
