Had a great experience in Chez Allen, with family. Nice view, great service, clean rooms, nice breakfast, friendly staff and nothing to complain. View from the family room and the rooftop is amazing. Kids loved it. The hotel located right next to the Piduruthalagala forest reserve. There is a short footpath along the forest boundary, and leads little bit into the forest, is ideal for a morning or evening walk. Friendly, quiet and peaceful neighborhood. A true value for money. Highly recommended.

My wife and I went to Nuwara Eliya for our 3 day vacation. We received excellent hospitality at Chez Allen. Just like they have known us for a long time, they provided us with all the facilities we needed. A star class breakfast and a delicious home made dinner were provided.... And there are good comfortable room facilities... It's worth it for the price... Thank you so much Chez Allen and your staff for making our holiday flawless....

Helpful friendly staff who organised us a tuktuk and nice breakfast with a great view. Unfortunately sheets were quite rough and too small for the bed so the mattress was exposed, and there was no hot water in the morning. Probably wouldn’t stay again. Also - you have to pay in cash fyi.

So here it goes. First of all no one picks up the phone. No one responds to messages. First they showed us a lower category room when we had booked the higher category and later when we wanted to walk out then they took us to a better room. But rooms are not the greatest and the location is very deep inside the town. Very affordable prices though.

We had a wonderful experience at Chez Allen. The staff was very polite, helpful and warm. Loved the fireplace. The climate was pleasant. The views were amazing. The location was also great. Loved everything. The food was okay. Parking was an issues due to the hilly terrain.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
