So the reviews kinda scared me but the location is pretty awesome surrounded by some restaurants, konbinis, and other convenience with the train. The service was great, the bed is a little small and the ac doesn’t blow cold but just cracked the window and it was fine. Few things could be better but over all the price was great. Took a star off because at 3am the lights came on and wouldn’t go off till my spouse went down to the front desk and they some how randomly turned all the power back on in the room.

Booked non smoking but room and hallways smelled strongly of smoke. Room is small and old. Staff on front desk highly inflexible and wouldn't allow a friend to visit for 2hrs. Good location to kamata station but highly recommend to book elsewhere especially considering the price wasn't very cheap.

The staff here are very helpful and friendly. We were only able to get a room in the smoking floor, but they were ready to swap us out for non-smoking rooms if they had become available. As such, they a special deep-cleaning of the room, and were offering an ozone cleaning if we're weren't satisfied. The hallway certainly has the tang of tobacco, but our room was great and odourless, so we didn't require any more. They allow you to leave your bags before you can check in, so no hunting for coin lockers. They have a pair of coin-op washer-driers in the lobby. The drier function is not the best, but there is a coin laundry just around the corner open 24/7. The location is close to lots of convenience stores and restaurants. There's a few grocery stores and a cute little farmers vegetable market nearby, as well. It's also close to the train station, but is still very quiet. While away from the exciting parts of Tokyo, it's not very far either. You pay a lot less, but can be out to the biggest tourist areas with 30-60 minutes by train. The staff will let you know that coffee, razors, q-tips, etc are available for free to grab beside the desk, but aren't in your rooms. We didn't get the breakfast buffet, but it did look good. All things considered, we decided that we would absolutely stay here the next time we are in Tokyo.
