        GREAT customer service at the front, everyone was super helpful! Free bike rental, close to a couple of neat eateries, around a 20-min walk to Kyoto station. Lovely space and bathroom.

        Very clean, new & comfortable hotel. I’m from Singapore Airlines and have lived in many hotels all over the world. Location is a little far off the usual underground or any nice food locations. Stayed 3 night & wanted to continue. However, I find the female manager was a little mental & kept knocking door in the morning to chase me out at 10 am. I was so tired as I had many projects on going that I can’t sleep at nights. I admit I made a mistake booking the wrong dates. But she should have practiced a little common sense. Obviously she could have waited until I fully woken up. As okyakusama, I guess the generation of respecting customers gave died with the pandemic & etc. Again, bike rentals were a great idea. Bicycles were mostly old & shoddy. Much effort need to cycle compared to nicer bikes which can be rented next door. But hey, who’s to complain when it’s free. Then, the same manager obviously wasn’t happy when she said I can only use the bikes until midnight. I was given a proper telling off when I returned @ 2 am. And she was there waiting. A little too much for a young lady. I don’t think any men would like such a head mistress attitude esp when speaking to their customers. Mental health is a fragile thing and I hope she learns to understand international customers who need to work at different but sane hours online. And give some leeway. After all it’s just a cheap bike and there’s so many in the lobby. I really don’t get her problems. Please explain. Otherwise I would love to stay at this hotel despite the distance. Cos I’m a healthy senior biker anyways. PS to yr reply: definition of repair & maintenance after midnight doesn’t make sense. I don’t see anyone there maintaining yr ram shackled bikes after midnight NOR ever. Having stayed there more than a week. It’s just you have really weird concepts & checking out if guests are still alive at 10 am is kinda not making sense either. Hence, please go Tokyo or anywhere international & find out what’s the average time for check outs. I’m sure u will find it at 12 noon or up to 2 pm in some advanced countries like Singapore. That’s it… I’m reducing one more star because your management styles just don’t make any sense. Plus I will complain to Agoda as well as bookings dot com.

        very good value for money! bigger room in comparison to other more expensive hotels. it’s also possible to borrow bikes which is very convenient for a city like kyoto that’s flat and not very big. very recommended!

        There bicycles and coffee available for free, vending machine has drinks and you can pay for breakfast buffet. No food other than that on the premises. It’s right in front of the bus stop
