Easy access to the room from the main road. The room was fantastic with internal decor aligned with the stone and cave. There was a fabulous bathroom the size of my living room 😍. It had a shower on a corner and an oval bath on the middle that helped relaxing 😌 after an entire day under 35 degree sun. The service agreed time to check in and provided all info and directions for the breakfast and restaurants around. Super recommended.

Very unique location in the city center, the room in a cave is an amazing experience that you will never do anywhere else. On the other hand the service and the staff is not appropriate for the location, the breakfast is very poor and not good quality. Very disappointed!!

Wow, the view and location is nothing but amazing. We were a short walk from friends and the city center. The room was great and had everything we needed except and iron to press our clothes before going out. We contacted staff but they had no access to a steamer or iron. The staff was very attentive and helpful with wine and fresh fruit for our arrival and the breakfast was well stocked and fresh. The room was a wonderful experience with the cave construction. If in Matera again it will definitely be a place we will consider staying. Thanks Mariella

The hotel room is clean and the location is also good. The breakfast is also ok. But I cannot give higher than 3 stars because I don’t think the room is a real cave. I wished that I can experience the cave life, according to the description online, the room should be a cave!

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.
