        Very basic and run-down. It did the job for a weekend in London. Everything was very tired, it was clean-ish. Could hear all the other rooms and lots of noise especially at night. Old single glazed windows so could hear everything outside too. Location was excellent though and it was cheap too. They let us check in early and leave our bags after we checked out.

        This place was a classic example of great advertising. Took us an age to find it due to tiny sign. Was a bit of a faff with retrieving an email to locate codes to put in door then struggled to actually get in as the space between the front door and the hallway door was hobbit sized. So then you have to put in another code to get your room key (card). Climbed a wooden staircase and honestly felt I was somewhere seedy. Our room was uncomfortable. Nowhere to place my make-up and had to grovel under a desk to plug in a poor quality hairdryer. The bathroom is tiny and tired looking plus the door is a sliding screen door that made me so self conscious I couldn't use the toilet for fear of making a noise and being heard!!! Woke at 7am to cleaners making a racket which sounded like they were throwing their vaccum cleaners at the walls!! The only good thing was the location......once we'd found it!!

        Location and rooms fabulous for central London. Clean, spacious and was an ideal base for a 1 night stopover in the city before heading off to Canary Wharf for the night. Would highly recommend to anyone for an affordable stay here in Russell Square

        A perfect budget hotel experience in London. The room is small but very comfortable, well-stocked, and there is a great shower with lots of towels. The location is really great - walking distance to Kings Cross and Russel Square tube station, so you can get anywhere in the city easily. Also very close to the British Museum and a few lovely parks, but still a quiet and safe neighborhood. Best of all was the helpful and super responsive service, both in person and by email. If you're looking for a base from which to explore London for a great price, this is it!

        We had a lovely stay, the location of the hotel is ideal, and allows access to all amenities via the underground or even by foot. the staff is very friendly and understanding, and did not hesitate to change our room when we told him about our discomfort in the first room. the rooms are clean and efficient. I would recommend.

          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
