Lovely clean hotel in an ideal location. Beautifully revamped rooms with an amazing shower. Pleasant and helpful staff at front desk. The interleading rooms had a lovely view of the canals. Breakfast however was terrible. Would not book with breakfast again. They didn't cater for the busy period, not enough food, tables and even cutlery. Long lines and waiting periods for food. The staff were not very helpful at all! Rudely and abruptly started clearing up at 10:20. Mouldy bread. It really wasn't a pleasant experience.

Blown away by how friendly and professional the staff are here. So helpful, couldn't do enough for us. Really great advert for South African hospitality. Hotel is in a great location with easy access to the V & A Waterfront. Rooms were clean, modern and well appointed. Loved it here.

The rooms were amazing. Love the upgrades done. The only thing to watch out for, is the breakfast cost. At the entrance to the breakfast, i was told it was included in my room. (the person checked my room number) & then asked me to sign. Then at checkout, we were told breakfast wasn't included and we had to pay R190 pp. That was appalling! We could of eaten out for less and for a better breakfast.

Commendable Service! Due to altercations at a previous hotel, we were able to have 2 nights at the very well run City Lodge V&A Waterfront. The lovely Tia at reception, assisted in securing our beautiful, newly renovated rooms. They were clean, comfortable and much more user friendly than previous hotels. Their fixtures and furnishings are truly welcomed. It's as if the interior design team read our minds about the needs of guests 'living out of their suitcases'. The open plan concept for clothes, bags, etc is ideal and perfectly situated in the room. More hotels should adopt this type of style! The Nespresso machine was a WOW factor, making our stay even more luxurious. A special mention goes out to Sonwabile. He helped us secure a last minute booking at another hotel for one night, due to City Lodge being booked. And when we came back to the Lodge for our two nights, he was the kindest, most humble and helpful. He always had a smile and went over and above the call of duty to assist us in every way. He also deserves 5 stars. The breakfast teams friendliness made us feel like we wanted to eat even more....apart from the food being delicious. The variety caters for everyone needs. The hotel is perfectly situated, over looking the Canal, for the most inviting welcome to Cape Town. Thank you to the team at the City Lodge V&A Waterfront. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and didn't want to leave.

Central to most attractions and amenities. It's great for when you know you will not be spending most of your time at the hotel because it is situated near most attractions. Can walk to most places. Recommend 💯 will definitely be visiting again

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
