One of my favorite spots on earth... Port Douglas is a sleepy little town way off the beaten path. A jump off point for touring the Great Barrier Reef.The resort is located right in quaint downtown area of Port Douglas within walking distance of the Wharf and numerous other points of interest. The room I was given was on the second floor with a balcony view of the harbor across the street. An incredible property in a place I can't wait to return to. If you get a chance go there and experience it.Try to take one of the daily boat tours out to the Great Barrier Reef while it's still there.

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is old and you can feel it. The elevator is a bit groggy - avoid it if you can. The room was spacious but the refrigerator was full of dirty leftovers. The ac needs an upgrade. There is not much you can adjust the ac to and even with fan is not enough.

We’ve been to Port Douglas a number of times so recognise the location of the resort was most important to us. Unfortunately the rooms were old, appeared unclean and the air conditioning could not cope. We paid premium prices as we travelled during peak periods. There were a lot of additional charges for things guests should not have to do (and we’d never had to do at any other resort we have stayed at). We had a good time but would not recommend Club Tropical Resort unless you got a bargain rate.

On the positive side, the view from our room was amazing. The stuff was friendly and helpful. The pool was spacious with a warm jacuzzi. However, the place seemed quite outdated and in need of a facelift. The furniture in the rooms looked old and tired, same with the bathroom. After dark (6pm) the pool area was not lit up although it should have been open later on.

We love this well-placed resort with its iconic water gardens and pool with the grotto spa. Our spacious room had views over the inlet and the mountains and was comfortable with a new bathroom and kitchen. Great stay with really friendly and helpful service from Fiona and others on the front desk. We'll be back

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
