As soon as we arrived, we were not greeted in a welcoming manner. The man at the desk asked me if I wanted the jacuzzi. I was confused because I had already prepaid for a room with a king bed and jacuzzi. He kept asking me if I was sure I wanted it and then said only one room with a jacuzzi was left and two more customers who were arriving that night wanted them. He said he wasn't sure how they overbooked. I don't understand why he explained the operational errors with me. I also didn't appreciate him trying to convince me to take a room with just a king bed, I'm not sure why other guests would be more important than me. Unprofessional. As far as the room goes, it clearly smelled like cigarette smoke. My husband and I both have asthma so this was very irritating. Due to my experience at the front desk, I felt there was no use brining up this issue. Additionally, the room was dirty. The bathroom was visibly dirty, including the jacuzzi. I had to wipe it out before using it. The bed runner had crusty stains on it. One of the lamps didn't work. The ironing board was busted. One or two of these things could have been excusable but the combination of this just shows an overall lack of care and effort. I will never return to a comfort inn or any choice hotels again.

We stayed for two nights this past weekend. When my partner went in to check in, the clerk was being just a little weird. Commented on their birth year to say he was born in the same year, then started asking weird random questions like “Are you a student?” Nothing particular wrong, but the vibes were just off. Next, we were given our room, and there are holes in the wall where the headboard had fallen down, plus the peep hole on the side of the door inside the room was gone. Although the peephole was still there on the outside, I guess the last guests had put tissue in there to make sure no one could see in. It was still there when we arrived. We went ahead and put tissues on the holes in the wall too just to be safe. I immediately went to fill up the ice and noticed the whole bucket and lid were disgusting. I went and asked for another, and the clerk said he would just bring it to the room which I found weird in a hotel like this. While we were waiting, my friend went to ask for something else, and the clerk began asking the same weird questions. Then he tells her she has nice cheeks. She then says thanks and he asks if he can TOUCH them. Which was the weirdest part of it all. She told him no and came back to the room and we avoided leaving the room unless it was absolutely necessary. He brought the ice bucket and we quickly took it and said thank you and shut the door. I would not return to this hotel for any reason. I hope that this employee is fired, as people deserve to feel safe at their hotels.

Not what I expected for a Comfort. Young man that checked us in was nice enough. We got a non smoking room but the smoke smell in the hallway was thick. Hairs on the tub and in places they shouldn't be. Dont know if they were from previous guest or if cleaners just lost some hair. We are senior travelers and we got put into an adjoining room with younger people that decided to yell in the hallway and let doors slam at 1am. We called desk and they did come up..the adjoining doors have no insulation factors. We could hear the young man's reaction. Then when I went to check out before breakfast, no one would come to desk after I called out and rang the bell.
