        This is definitely not a 5-star hotel; the cost and rating are not in line with the service provided. The location is fantastic, with a very beautiful view, central, and all services extremely close by. The common areas, the lobby, and the corridors are very beautiful, spacious, and large. However, the same cannot be said for the rooms, which are old, with damaged and aged furniture. Additionally, noises are often heard during the night, the shower is uncomfortable, the bathtub is small, the showerhead doesn’t work well, and the curtain is terrible and gets completely wet during a shower. The cleaning service is good but not perfect; in some cases, the room was not completely cleaned. The cost per night is absolutely excessive and illogical for the service offered. The breakfast is not very expensive and is decent, but nothing exceptional. Finally, the reception staff are very kind and helpful. However, they made a very serious mistake. Before arriving, I had sent an email stating that I would check in one day late, and thus to NOT mark my reservation as a ‘no-show’. They did not respond to my email, and after 5 days I tried to follow up. They replied saying they understood and would note it. However, upon my arrival, I was informed at the reception that my reservation had been marked as a ‘no-show’. I had to explain the problem multiple times and wait for them to resolve it. This is absolutely unacceptable for a 5-star hotel, especially considering the high price

        Lovely hotel on the waters edge near the train station. We stayed on the 8th floor. Our room was clean and well appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bedsheets and pillows were very comfortable and of nice quality. The room was large with a king sized bed and a decent sized bathroom with shower/tub combination and hand shower. The shower water pressure was on the low side. The location is not central and it is quite a long walk to the touristy center. We rented bikes. But there is also plenty of public transportation to avoid walking. The staff is friendly and efficient. Overall our stay was a very positive experience in this lovely modern hotel.

        I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is a little bit dated but the pluses are aplenty. The room we had was the water facing room. So good to see the activities people are doing in the canal. The location is also very good. Within walking distance to the Copenhagen Central Station that makes it easy to venture outside of the capital. The food they serve for breakfast and afternoon happy hours was excellent. So, I'd recommend this place to anyone.

        From the moment I walked into the hotel, I was greeted by an absolutely stunning lobby. The interior was both modern and tastefully decorated, boasting a classy touch that set the stage for what I hoped would be an equally luxurious stay. However, my initial excitement was somewhat tempered when I stepped into my assigned room. Contrary to the impression set by the common areas, the room felt very outdated. The carpet, in particular, was quite unappealing and seemed like it had seen better days. My expectation for the room was understandably high based on the hotel's lobby, so the disparity was disappointing. That being said, the hotel's service was great. When I expressed my concerns about the room to the staff, they arranged for us to be moved to a newly renovated room. The new room was a night-and-day difference—absolutely stunning and furnished to a standard that one would expect from such an establishment. It was as luxurious as I had originally anticipated. The staff did mention that the hotel is in the midst of renovations, which gave me hope that the outdated rooms will eventually match the quality of the rest of the facility. The excellent customer service and the experience in the upgraded room certainly salvaged our stay. Additional to all these, the view from the hotel was breathtaking, adding an extra layer of pleasure to our stay. Waking up to such a beautiful panorama felt like the cherry on top of our experience. And let’s not forget the breakfast buffet—it was one of the best I’ve ever had. The variety and quality of food available were exceptional, setting a high standard for hotel breakfasts. In summary, while the hotel has some inconsistencies in terms of room quality, their exceptional service and ongoing renovations suggest that they are actively working to bring all rooms up to the high standard set by their beautiful lobby, stunning views, and amazing breakfast buffet. I would recommend this hotel, but it might be worth inquiring about the status of room renovations when you book.

        Fantastic hotel! Wish I could give it more than 5 stars. All the staff were super friendly and accommodating from the front desk to the concierge. It’s centrally located and easy walking distance to lots of dining options. Big shout out to Derk at the concierge. He went above and beyond to give detailed recommendations (and knew his stuff)!

          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
