The Cordis hotel in Shanghai Hongqiao is a great place to stay at. Definitely recommend for business travelers. Rooms are comfortable, spacious and feel modern. Rooms come with mini fridge and have international sockets. Staff very professional and friendly. Breakfast is a good mix of eastern and western cuisine. Rooms come at 1,099 CN¥ (tax included), breakfast at 230.87 CN¥ The hotel is surrounded by many bars and restaurants.

I wanna go back here with my friends. I’m staying for business trip, but hotel swimming pool looks so nice, but i cannot use, so i wanna stay here again and use the swimming pools. So fancy bathtub also look so nice. Also i’m waiting for room service. I ordered pizza but i got the reply the pizza cannot be ordered after 10mins. Everyone can speak english fluently but not friendly that much.

This hotel is owned by a Hong Kong based group. I stayed here for business as it was less than 5 minutes from my office. The pluses - If you are in the Hong Qiao area of Shanghai, this hotel is smack in the middle of the CBD. It is also less than 5 minutes from the closest metro stop which you can use to head towards central Shanghai. I had a comfortable stay. I liked: The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very tasty with a unique mix of local Chinese food. There were a few nice innovations in the room such as auto opening blinds when you step into the room. I did not like: The hotel itself appeared to be quite new. However, the maintenance was not as good as that seen in international 5 star hotels such as the Marriott or Westin. Also, the shampoo and shower gel was not very good.

Very conveniently located next to the Hongqiao train station and only 1 or 2 subway stops from the two terminals at Hongqiao Airport. Rooms are large, clean and well furnished in a contemporary style. Gym is decent

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
