        WOW. This hotel is incredible. The rooms are very nice, beds extremely comfy. Service is amazing, they will bring you breakfast in bed! That was my favorite part. This hotel is also walking distance from a lot of great attractions

        Corso 281 is a hotel in Rome, Italy, and it was amazing in every way. From location, to room, to service, we felt incredibly taken care of from the moment we arrived. Getting to the hotel from the train station was chaotic, but we felt a huge sense of relief when we got to Corso 281 as there was an influx of tourists on the streets. As we entered the lobby, it was very small, and there were a couple of seats and a tiny desk to check in. Our room wasn’t ready to be checked in, but we were able to wait in their bottom floor where we grabbed some snacks and played tic-tac-toe! When our room was ready, we were called up to our room. As soon as we entered, I knew it would be a nice stay. The shower was incredible, and the beds were very comfortable. Our room came with breakfast in bed every morning. We ordered everything from cappuccinos, cereals, pear juice, pastries, yogurts, and more. I loved everything about it. The location of the hotel is within walking distance of all major landmarks from the Colosseum, Vatican City, and multiple restaurants. Of course, you can also take buses, but there is construction across the entire city, and it can be very overwhelming. Rome is over-flooded with tourists, so I really appreciated our little oasis (Corso 281) inside the ridiculousness. I would absolutely recommend getting a hotel room here if you want a nice experience in Rome!

        Stayed for 3 nights. Clean, comfortable room and bathroom. Excellent service. Great location. . We got an ensuite room, breakfast served to the room and a 24-hour lobby service with excellent service and where nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Plenty of restaurants on your doorstep. We stayed on the 4th floor and didn't get disturbed by the traffic as our windows were shut, curtains drawn and air-conditioning was on. It is a brilliant location for sightseeing, with all the key tourist highlights within walking distance.

        The hotel itself is beautiful, great balconies, nice rooms . The location is absolutely perfect if you want to spend a couple to few days exploring Rome. The Collesum, Trevi Fountain etc etc are all within an easy walk . The operations of the hotel left a bit to be desired . The staff, while very friendly and nice, weren't very helpful . Couldn't give us any good restaurant recommendations, or communicate effectively. I certainly dont expect everyone to speak English perfectly as WE are in THIER country , but I would expect that if you work the front desk at an international tourist hotel you'd have a bit better grasp of it . The NOISE . I had no problem with the busy city streets outside the window, cuz ya know you're in the center of Rome . But the noise from the stairwells and the front desk could be heard very clearly in our hotel room. Yes, that's part of staying at a hotel , but with doors so heavy I had to shove them open with most of my weight you'd think they'd be more sound damping. None of the electrical outlets worked on my side of the bed , and we didn't have hot water for 2 of the three nights we stayed . To sum up, fantastic location, mediocre experience. It almost feels like someone else had a vision , created a beautiful place to stay and then someone else took over and can't maintain the standards.

        If you want to be in the middle of everything this is the hotel for you. As far as it being classified as 5 stars that’s a HUGE stretch. This hotel had extremely small rooms, very noisy, rooms were hot at night. Our tv never worked and we asked someone to fix it both day we were there never done. If you’re expecting 5 star service you’re better off at a Holiday Inn. Also there were two bugs in our shower that we killed and flushed, when we told them, they said that’s not possible, and brushed it off. Very strange. Save money stay somewhere else
