I recently stayed at the courtyard Marriott and explain to the young lady that I had a kid on the spectrum she pretty much talked down to me like whatever this is the reason that you chose. I would have felt better if she would have told me about the policies and procedures but she just how I felt about my kid and being on the first floor where there was no clear security outside and people consider in front of the room. That's not even talk about the water damage that was in the room that they were offering me to pay top dollar for. She was absolutely rude until she saw that we took pictures of the damage I have never experiences that from Marriott I would not suggest you going to the room quicker unless you go check it out. They move me to a new room but all the amenities that I needed or wiped away. Of course I complain I'm a member of Marriott they pretty much said oh well we're sorry but that's the way it is. I never expected this for Marriott I will not stay at another Marriott I'll move my membership to the embassy suites they treat you better and they try to rectify situations but not Marriott. A specifically chose this place and spent this type of money so that this type of stuff wouldn't happen. But lower and behold they don't care. What happened to Marriott and the customer service. How can you pay for a balcony when the balcony is not secure and anybody can walk up to your room window That's not a balcony. In the way staff talk down to me really made me feel bad. Again go check your room before you purchase and spend this type of money on a hotel that doesn't really care or value their customers.

Beds were somewhat uncomfortable and they need to offer at least two pillows per bed but the view from the balcony was amazing. Also, no complimentary breakfast and the restaurant is expensive.

Exceptional service and comfort at the Courtyard Marriot in OCMD. The room was very clean, comfortable beds, up-to-date TV and ports for electronics were plentiful. Ergonomic desk chair with dedicated plugs and port for your cellphone and laptop. Our view was beachfront and spectacular ocean viewing. The sliding glass door was impressively clean which was really nice to see through. The indoor swimming pool was excellent! It actually had open walls that allowed the breeze throughout. The patio/deck area was clean and spacious. The furniture was built well. There were couples sized tanning beds. The tables had bright yellow umbrellas. There were potted palm trees and other foliage decorating the area so it felt like an oasis. There was a round conversation pool off the side that also served as a waterfall. It definitely was nice to have this easy laid-back area to unwind. The staff here were so nice. Their professional attitude was very welcoming too. If we needed anything, the front desk aimed to please quickly! We had a beautiful time. There's a restaurant that served delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The chef was phenomenal. We had the Surf and Turf which was expertly prepared. The steak was perfection and melted in your mouth. The shrimp stuffed with crab was absolutely so delicious that you could actually say it blended and taste better than the usual lobster tail. Oh and the Crab Soup! Oh my! We all wished we had a way to take a few quarts home. The bartender knew his drinks! We had chocolate martinis and Raspberry Lemonade. I definitely recommend the Captain's Table for an enjoyable night. Yes this restaurant had live music too. We found ourselves enjoying a delightful time. Yes we will be back! The entire hotel was clean, clean, then more clean! The only concern we had was the parking. There are limited spaces under the hotel. There's parking across the street available though but it's inconvenient for those who are limited walking a distance. We decided not to forfeit the close Handicap parking so once we were parked we didn't drive elsewhere. We used Ubers or the bus. It was our choice though because it was more convenient.

EXCELLENT!! It was a late check in , I was tired from driving 4.5 hours. Staff onsite ( Nekeah Custis ) was so kind and friendly. Everything I was about to ask was already taken care of to my surprise. I was blown away by the outstanding customer service. Going above and beyond my expectations !!! Way to go Nekeah !! Marriott is very lucky to have you as their employee. I,d give you personally 6 stars if I could :). Beautiful rooms , lobby , restaurant , and excellent band for your buck$ !! MN ( Y5XoBentlee )

Traveled with friends and family this past weekend which was awesome. But the one lady at the front desk was not welcoming at all. This hotel uses a third party company that will charge you way more then Booking, hotels or any other sites like that. Hence they play games with you on it’s not us “Marriott” it’s the booking company. Which in reality it the company they hired so when you call the damn 1-800 # it’s an answering service. This was very disappointing because I have always preferred to stay at a Marriott hotel and never have I received this type of poor and dishonest customer service. Could of put us near each other for our stay instead of two different floors. Plus we all booked at the same but yet charged definitely for rooms. How is a sea view room cheaper than a city view? SMH
