This is about a 15 minute walk to the myeongdong area. Everything about this hotel was great- room is modern and spacious, service was efficient and the staff was friendly. There was free breakfast (cereal and yogurt). I loved my time here and would definitely come back to this hotel next time I'm in Seoul.

the location is great close to two metro stations and markets. I found the service friendly and helpful and they allowed me to check in a little earlier. the breve double room was comfortable as a solo traveller but I can see how it may be a little small for two. great shower pressure and provided with body wash, shampoo, conditioner and moisturiser. upstairs at the bar/lounge has fantastic views overlooking N seoul tower and park.

I recently stayed at Dears Myeongdong and overall, it was a decent experience with a few drawbacks. I would like to highlight both the positives and negatives of my stay. Starting with the positives, the location of the hotel is excellent. It is situated in the heart of Myeongdong, which is a vibrant and bustling area with numerous shops and restaurants. The proximity to public transportation and popular tourist attractions is definitely a major advantage. However, there were a few areas that fell short of expectations. Firstly, the shower pressure in our room was disappointingly weak. It made the showering experience less enjoyable and refreshing. This is an aspect that I believe the hotel should address to enhance guest comfort. Additionally, the size of the room was smaller compared to some of the previous hotels I've stayed in. It felt a bit cramped, especially when accommodating luggage and moving around the room. Another issue was the lack of soundproofing in our room. As it faced the road, we experienced disturbances during the night, making it difficult to have a restful sleep. Improving the sound insulation would greatly benefit the guests. One major inconvenience we encountered was when we requested a room change due to the noise issue. Unfortunately, there were no available rooms, and the staff's response was not particularly helpful or accommodating. It would have been more satisfactory if they had made an effort to find a solution or offered alternatives. Lastly, the hotel has a laundry room which is typically reserved for long-term stays. However, they allowed short-term guests to use it during a specific period. Although this was a convenient amenity, there were some drawbacks. The room was currently free to use, but the downside was that you had to share it with other people. Some guests didn't respect waiting times and would remove other people's laundry, which is unhygienic and disrespectful. It would be beneficial if the hotel could address this issue to ensure a fair and hygienic experience for all guests. In conclusion, Dears Myeongdong offers a good overall experience with a few areas that require improvement. Despite the weak shower pressure, smaller room size, lack of soundproofing, unhelpful staff regarding room changes, and some inconveniences in the laundry room, the hotel's location is its strong point. With some attention to these concerns, it has the potential to provide a more enjoyable stay.

We stayed at this hotel from 12/28-12/31 and arrived at hotel a little bit early on the first day, but the hotel provided us early check-in. Appreciate. The location is very convenient and the staff is very nice and friendly. We wanted to order a chicken delivery on 12/30 night but couldn’t understand how to use the delivery app, the front desk male staff gave us a hand to finish the delivery and can speak a little bit Chinese! Thank you so much. Although I could hear a little bit of traffic noise from room, overall, recommend this place to stay.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
