Great location (northern Thamel) for getting last minute things for our trek, with lots of gear shops, pharmacies, $ exchanges and some nice cafes nearby (eg Avocado). The area is hectic, as in most of central Kathmandu, but the hotel is a quiet oasis, and a short walk to the Garden of Dreams. The staff were friendly, respectful and helpful. There is dining inside or outside. There is a rooftop area with peaceful views I enjoyed most days before breakfast. The meals were fine with good variety. Nice room (507) with interesting views of rooftops. Easy lift or stairs access. Bed comfy, shower reliable and hot, sit-toilet with bidet spray, basin. We had fresh soft towels daily. We left our luggage there for 3 weeks while trekking, no problem. Very happy to return there if I do another trek.

They charged extra 1500 to us for changing the bed sheets. We were staying 5 days. And someone booked another room by taking my name and room number. Hotel staff didn’t even call or inform us. We had to pay their half bills too. So ignorance from the hotel . If you wanna stay more than 1 night in this hotel. I recommend to stay another hotel on that price.

I've been travelling to Kathmandu regularly for 20 years and I usually stay for around two weeks at a time and I'm based in Kathmandu as I'm working. . The prerequisites for me are having a quiet place in the heart of the city which is comfortable and most important where I can relax and feel at home.the Norbolinka satisfies all these requirements. Just a street away from the hustle and bustle if Thamel yet in a super quiet location. The rooms are comfortable with constant hot water and flat screen TV with cable - great for relaxing in front of the cricket or football 😜. And the staff are just great. Efficient but very friendly from the reception to the restaurant staff even down to the cleaners and the man on the door. A very reasonable price for the quality of the hotel. Highly recommended

It’s just Amazing !!!!!! Great location, really pleasant and clean room, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All the people are are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. We had an amazing time, thank you . Can’t wait to go back again !

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
