        I highly recommend this amazing hotel. It's kind of cozy and comfortable. Staff is very friendly. As soon as I arrived I could see Lions and Rotary posters which made me happy. Breakfast is fantastic: I am gluten and lac intolerant and I was very well attended. Rooms are clean and very spacious. I am glad we are here.

        Visited the Doria with family mid Dec 2023. The rooms were comfortable and service was helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a convenient location near the station which was the main reason we stay here. Although, I will say that the neighbourhood appears to have had better days. Overall a nice 4 star hotel with lots of character.

        I arrived early and was able to store my luggage at the hotel. I had to wait a long time to check in as the couple ahead of me was taking forever. After they were done, I was able to check in without too much trouble. Other than that, the staff was friendly and attentive. Room was clean and there was a ample breakfast buffet.

        Please listen to others and avoid this hotel. I was unfortunate enough to leave a valuable item and received such poor assistance trying to retrieve it. I rang and was told to send an email, which I did but received no response. After waiting a week, I rang again and was told to send a second email. I have since written three emails and phoned three times. The staff clearly don’t care and there doesn’t appear to be any system for lost property other than to ignore and avoid customers. I agree with other reviewers that this hotel is a scam. It has been a very disappointing experience.

        Nothing fancy, clean enough, recommend a do-over in the bathroom (slippery danger in the shower) and definitely not for the elderly or people with disabilities. Sadly my room was next to the elevator with the disturbance that comes with that. Quiet area and if you like walking it’s a 3,5 km to Duomo church and good for your health. Breakfast was just fine and made great cappuccino during breakfast but then you are on your own after 10 am getting the coffee somewhere else. Staff was friendly and that is important. If you are looking for something closer you will not find much under 500€ anyway for a 3 day trip.
