        Location isn't super central but the regular shuttle routes all over Central, Wan Chai and Causeway Bay more than makes up for the location. Though my room was overlooking an enormous graveyard and honestly I found that to be quite ominous. The breakfast in the morning is pretty decent. A changing offering every single morning so be sure to try whatever you can and don't expect the same thing to be offered the next day. Also the cappuccino from the machine isn't good, get the macchiato. Also my room was perpetually cold despite cranking up the temperature and having the fan on the lowest setting so it was either freezing or stuffy and humid. I hope you don't have the same experience. My shower head had a failing gasket of sorts and it dribbled. The alternative shower head was weak. Again, I hope you don't experience the same. Overall the hotel is quite nice. The service and the shuttles are 10/10. The room, not so much.

        I had an incredible stay at this hotel! The staff went above and beyond to make my experience exceptional. When a typhoon forced me to check out a day early, they were incredibly accommodating and even helped me check the status of the border. They showed genuine concern for my well-being, providing umbrellas to ensure I didn't get wet. The ground staff were also fantastic, assisting with taxi arrangements seamlessly. While I didn't catch all their names, Agnes stood out as the absolute best. Her exceptional service made my stay truly memorable. Highly recommended!

        I have anxiety each time I pass by this hotel after quarantining there. Rooms are old, very dusty. Some sort of carpet on the walls. If you’re asthmatic like me, you will struggle. Cleaning wasn’t done properly before I came. I had to go to the doctor after my breathing was severely impacted. Food was horrific. It’s cold in winter. The view of the racecourse is nice but the very busy road below is bad and air quality is rubbish because of that. Location - no metro station nearby. I forgot to mention that the management increased their fee by 30% when the HK imposed an extra week for everyone.

        For a multitude, I do not recommend Dorsett. Firstly the hotel does not provide bottled water to their guests. They expect guests to collect water themselves in water fountains every day, like school kids. Alternatively, guests can purchase bottles of water from vending machines in the lobby. Their reason for this is “environmental” protection however they haven't thought about the hygienic aspect of their system. They expected guests to share a single bottle of water to be refilled each day. If one guest contracted a positive COVID, it would lead to an epidemic: Additionally, the Dorsett Hotel is next to a Cemetery and the main entrance faces directly to the Highway. Not at all convenient to go out. You can only walk through the subway to cross the street to the shops, but at night you will see a lot of beggars sleeping in the subway.

        A great deal. Located in Wanchai at a crossing, with both Bus stop and Ding-ding stops right out side the hotel. MTR is a 15 minute walk or use the free hotel shuttle. Check in was smooth, concierge service is good. Family Rooms were nice, with two double beds. Bathroom has a tub and hot water round the clock. However, no water faucet in the toilet. Breakfast is ok, with the restaurant a little jam-packed in the morning. No Indian food in the menu. Another plus point is the available drinking water point on every floor. Also has snacks dispenser in the lobby. 5 mins walk to nearest restaurants.
