Love the place and the front desk people and the managers there but they need to tune down the heat it's way too hot in the dinning room as well as the rooms there . It's central controlled and needs to tune it down and they need to do better plowing the snow and the ice on the side walk . It's not safe walking... Very icy and slippery

The room itself was modern and well equipped, but the air conditioning doesn’t work. My room was close to 30deg celcius and unable to be cooled down. Reception staff advised that it was due to the system being centrally controlled and set to ‘winter mode’. Their only advice was to open the window which was an inadequate solution due to the outside traffic noise. I checked out 2 hours after arriving and moved to a different hotel. If you enjoy sleeping in a sauna, this hotel is for you, otherwise I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

I had amazing experience in Hilton Almaty . Great location , clean rooms and the view was amazing during snowy time . Breakfast was so good and the staff was amazing attentive and responsive. I would Highly recommend this hotel .

I am currently staying at the hotel but felt that I must post the review now rather than waiting till returning . Let me start with positives 1. Great central location. Good connectivity. 2. The rooms are nice. 3. Heating is great as you would require for a country where it snows during winter. 4. Views from the room of the mountain are great. 5. Reception staff was very good , the lady who checked us very patient and showed us several options of room. They chNgeed our room and Allocated a mountain view room. 6. Allowed 2 hour early checkin as well Things to Improve- I would have given 5 stars but for points below. 1. Seems that they are run by a local partner who is not aligned to Double Tree International Policies. We booked on Double Tree website. We arrived and they are offering special discount for guest for new year dinner night. They refused to give us the discount saying since we booked directly from Hilton so won't get the discount. Quite a joke. They are encouraging people to third party sites. 😁 2. You ask for water at room service or even reception , they refuse to give. If you tell them that you will pay, they don't understand English. Amazing 🤣. Overall our stay has been comfortable,safe and happy.

Modern hotel in a central location. My room on the tenth floor offered a beautiful view over the city. It was sufficiently large. The facilities were up to expectations. The hotel offers a large gym as well as a very large spa and pool area. The breakfast was delicious and also offered some local specialities. The team was professional and polite at all times. The wifi went down completely on one day during my stay. This was very annoying. Also, the price level of the hotel is comparatively high for Kazakhstan.
