We had an absolutely amazing time at Durbar hotel & Residence. The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great bed comfortable beds. The breakfast set was delicious, with different options. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Hotel owner is very kind. I could say this place is one of the good hotels in Kathmandu for stay.

It is a nice budget hotel located in Thamel. The rooms are good. The bathroom is spacious and clean. The morning buffet has limited menu. The staff are very helpful. The hotel location is very good. Overall a very good budget hotel if you are looking for decent accommodation at a pocket friendly price in Thamel.

What a disappointment, lots of issues, can’t list them all: 1. The best room is having patches on the wall of colors. 2. Hot water available only morning 5 to 10 and evening 5 to 10 3. No lift n we have provided room on 5th floor. 4. No room service, we requested to clean the room and it was not done. 5. We requested to clean it properly because of lots red ants, but it was not cleaned. 6. We requested to change the pillow because of smell and size, surprisingly they didn’t had extra pillow. 7. We requested for fresh towels to get ready in the morning they said we have called the laundry, we will provide once we get it. 8. Breakfast was on order base and not buffet. Complete disaster and disappointment not recommended at all to anyone. Sadly i still have to stay for one night to catch my flight next morning.

I stayed in this property for couple of days with my wife during Jan'23. The whole property is new (I think started in 2020, I might be wrong). So the building looked new and the overall ambiance was good, clean and hygienic. Room was decent. It had all the amenities like full length mirror, air conditioner, tv. However, the room size was slightly small. So if you are planning for a longer stay or working from hotel, the size can be a problem. Washroom was nice though. It was spacious. And had continuous hot water. Breakfast was decent as well. Though it was not buffet and you would get a set menu to choose from few options. (Please refer to the photo for reference. It was one of the set menu option) This property didn't have elevator so you have to climb up the stairs to your room and if you have knee trouble it may bother you. The hotel staffs would carry your luggage though and they were overall very helpful. I have no complain in terms of the location of the hotel. You will find a lot of cafes, restaurants, bars, pubs in walking distance. The Durbar Square is easily accessible from the hotel on foot (10 mins walk). And we enjoyed a lot of time just roaming around the Durbar Square and in people watching with hot cup of tea. It was an easy and entertaining activity for us only because of the location of this hotel. You will also get cab in front of the hotel (if you are ready to wait for 5-10 mins) like we did in our last day when we got a cab just in front of the gate of the hotel for the airport.

Hotel is good, staff is also very curious. Very good services . Draw back is no lift facility and when it comes to including breakfast they provide a small set of it ..you can choose one option that's too limited. It's not like you usually gets a huge spread of buffet breakfast. But quality of food and taste is very good .

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
