We stayed at the heritage wing and enjoyed our experience here. The rooms are spacious, well maintained and the colonial design offers a different experience. The lounge and pool also have a chilled vibe. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will be back again.

Rather disappointing experience considering that it's a 5 star hotel which charges a high rate for stays. We stayed for 4 nights, out of which 2 had ongoing events or weddings. Completely understandable if that is how ends are met for the hotel. However staff did not inform us of these events and that certain eating areas were booked out for them, which I believe is common courtesy to inform as we pay for the available facilities and services as well. What was most disappointing was that during those events, room service was understaffed, phone calls were not picked up and items were insufficient when we requested for them (a dining table and some cutleries). The hotel, which should operate primarily as a location for stays, was clearly scrimping on daily operation staff costs in order to execute these events, which reflects poorly on them in the long term. Staff are nice but poorly trained, and you can clearly see that it's a management issue, because the on the ground staff are so keen and eager to help. Facilities are great and the pool and sea view are gorgeous. The experience could have been enhanced with great service, unfortunately we left disappointed.

A magnificent building with lots of history but let down by neglect. Lack of maintenance spoils the experience. Most of the staff don’t show any pride and interactions are purely transactional, they are more interested in checking their phones than looking after you! Room in the heritage wing was nice and spacious with good bed linen. Nice amenities. Heritage pool had character but was surrounded by filthy sunbeds, dirty towels, weeds and mediocre staff. Milk in the breakfast coffee machine was presented in a rusty jug, uncovered totally unhygienic. The happy hour in Cornwallis was pleasant though and drinks were generous. This place is fading and living on the reputation they built 40 years ago, what a shame.

We have stayed at the E&O many times in the past and stayed there in November last year. We love the ambience of the Heritage wing, the staff are lovely and friendly. Even after an absence of 5 years some of the staff remembered us and welcomed us back. We can't rate the E&O highly enough. Going back for Christmas and New Year this year.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
