We are so happy we chose the Eccelso Hotel for our stay in Rome over Christmas. We stayed 9 nights total. The hotel is located a short 5-minute walk to the Vatican in one direction and 5 minutes to the metro in the other direction, so it is really easy to get around, to start. The room is comfortable, too. Nice bed, temperature easy to control, lovely shower with instant heat and good pressure. But what we really appreciated was the amazing staff. They arranged our pickup from the airport, and return transportation at 3:30 in the morning when we left. They gave us a little, unexpected Christmas treat of local goodies. Very responsive to our needs and questions. We were especially impressed by Anca. Her warmth, friendliness, and assistance are a real credit not only to this hotel but to her country. We've already decided that, when we return to Rome, we're staying at the Eccelso.

We had honestly the best experience staying in this hotel! The rooms were super clean, beautiful and really spacious. The location was great, next to Vaticano, taxi station and public transportation. But the best of all was the amazing and sweet staff of the hotel. When booking the rooms I informed them that the reason of our travel was that our grandmother was always dreaming about visiting Rome and finally we would make her dream come true. When we arrived, without me knowing, they had prepared a little surprise in her room with treats, balloons and champagne to make her trip even more special. It was a surprise to all of us and we were really moved by their thoughtfulness. Needless to say, for all the reasons above, this hotel is our #1 choice when visiting Rome again and we could not recommend it enough!

Our experience at this hotel has been really good. The room was beautiful, super clean and new. The treatment was incredible, they provided us with all kinds of help and the cleaning service was excellent. We will definitely repeat when we return to Rome.
