        Stayed here on New Year's Eve at what I considered to be a good rate for central London on this date at an ideal location. Staff were excellent, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had a quick lunch in the bar area made up of burgers from the menu, which I think were delivered from a local restaurant which wasn't a problem at all. They were tasty, hot and well presented. The room was clean and well presented, small but more than sufficient for our needs and the technology was easy to use. The bathroom was clean although the shower was a little small if I'm being picky. The kingsize bed was comfortable. The only area that I feel could be improved was breakfast. This was fine for what we needed but the selection is quite limited although the coffee was very good, just what we needed after a New year's Eve!

        Staff at the hotel was universally friendly and incredibly helpful. Local recommendations, getting cabs, food, drinks, etc. Location is convenient to the West End if you're here for a show. Hotel itself is very cute and estheticially appointed. Here's the thing -- the hotel bills itself as a "smart hotel" with all kinds of digital controls. This turns out to not be a value add, and was in fact a negative in the end. The kind of in room controls they have feel outdated quickly, and these are already past their expiration date. Also the rooms are so small that if there were traditional controls, everything is within your reach anyway. Rooms here, including the largest, are so small that there isn't even a simple chair. If you are literally only going to sleep in the room, this is perfect. If you want to sit on something other than a bed in any kind of privacy... not so much. Just know what you're getting. So, cute, great service, but be resolved that you will have to sit somewhere other than your room if you stay.

From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, exuding warmth and professionalism that made me feel right at home. The hotel itself is a blend of classic charm and modern elegance. My room was of ample size, striking a perfect balance between spaciousness and coziness. The modern amenities added to the room's appeal, with a particular highlight being the luxurious shower. A noteworthy mention must be given to the complimentary L'Occitane toiletries provided in the bathroom. The location of Eccleston Square Hotel is another significant advantage. A ten minute walk to Victoria Station or a short Taxi Ride to anywhere in the city. In summary, my stay at the Eccleston Square Hotel was nothing short of delightful. With its combination of welcoming staff, comfortable and modern rooms, luxurious amenities, and prime location, it has become my go-to hotel when staying in London.

        The service here is superb and everyone goes out of their way to make sure you're comfortable. The rooms are big for London standards. They have tea and coffee and nibbles at the reception for guests. It's close to Victoria Station which makes it very accessible. I needed a kettle in the room and it was delivered even though they have coffee makers provided. I really enjoyed my stay at Eccleston.

        Mixed opinions on this hotel. From the moment we arrived at 11am we were told there would be £40 early check in fee should we need the room now. They also took a £100 deposit on the room (even though we hadn't yet got it!) which i still haven't received back into my account a week after staying. This all just felt a little bit money grabbing when we had just travelled 4 hours to the hotel. Most upsetting of all is the room-which is what i was looking forward to! As soon as we entered the room (704 downstairs) i could smell a very. strong smell of cigarettes. It lingered on the bedsheets and carpet. Unfortunately i had an onward journey from London early the day after and this is when i really noticed how potent the smell of cigarettes all over my clothes were which stuck for days. As someone who is a none smoker the smell really clung to my clothes to the point i couldn't wear them until i had access to a washing machine and in turn had to borrow other family members clothing for the rest of the trip. I also noted that the hot tap on the sink in my room didn't work. I called reception who came straight downstairs to show me how it worked until she realised there was clearly a fault. She then told me that maintenance wasn't in until tomorrow so it would be sorted then which is when i said i was leaving early and that it would need to be addressed by the time i was back for dinner. This was fixed when i returned. All in all i was a little underwhelmed at the service provided especially as a 5 star hotel and i think if you are a none smoker you should not be given the option of the patio room as clearly previous guests abuse this.
