The reception staff are well mannered. But unfortunately, there are many comments about the hotel: 1) There is no way to fill a thermos with hot water. 2) Breakfast is very ordinary. Water for tea from a coffee machine with some kind of white residue. Not any place to sit. The employee said to sit at a table with other people, but there was no table occupied, but they were fenced off, you couldn’t sit there. 3) There is no ventilation in the toilet and there is also no telephone shower. Old renovation! Results: The reception staff is satisfied but the hotel is awful. Not 4 stars, only 3! I don't want to go there again.

This hotel was booked by our travel agency (group tours). As part of a group tour, its good. Nothing fancy. There is a LOT of echo from the piping, so you'll hear every time your neighbors flush or shower. The breakfasts are your standard continental breakfast: croissants, breads, cereals, fruits, etc. The beds were good, and bathrooms clean. Location wise- a bit uncomfortable. You'll have to walk around 18-20 mins to reach the nearest train station. Roma doesn't have a good metro availability.

No air conditioning! Get ready to sweat during your stay here. Other reviews are not exaggerating. Room had a mini split unit with a remote control but you do not get to choose the temperature. The hotel does that for you and it's not at all a comfortable temperature. They offered me a fan to move around the hot air in the room.

No air conditioning that works! I laid naked in the bed with a wet towel on me and a fan hoping for the second coming of Christ to come and end it for me! The employees seemed shocked (as sweat dripped from his face) that I was saying the room was too hot. Not sure who gave them the standing of a 4 star hotel, but I would give it a zero. The rooms and furniture are also very dated. There was black mold in the bathroom for us to breathe in which my asthma loved! And they told me the reason for the 30+ mosquitoes in the room was that the vent was broken and letting them in. I’d rather stay with Satan next time!

Most definitely not a 4 star hotel! I specifically chose this hotel because of the assurance of air conditioning on their website as most places in Europe don’t have any. This turned out to be a complete lie, leaving me to stay through a hot and uncomfortable stay. Despite my best efforts to seek assistance from the hotel staff, the room remained hot. Adding insult to injury, the reception’s response to my complaint was utterly dismissive and rude. They showed a lack of concern for the false claims made about the a/c and offered no satisfactory resolution. They simply said “open a window” and that they didn’t turn the a/c on until mid June! Their site doesn’t state that anywhere. Mind you aside from the heat, there were also mosquitos! So we either stayed hot with the window closed or got bit with the window open. It’s unacceptable to mislead guests about essential amenities like a/c!
