Element Atlanta Midtown

Nice size room, even the small one we had was half as big again as a regular hotel room. Clinically clean and comfortable except the couch in the room had a huge depression in the middle and could not be used. Nice bathroom. Great view: we were overlooking the celebrated Fox. Nice breakfast with made to order eggs. No unsweetened yoghurt here though. What ever happened to good old plain yoghurt? All the staff were very pleasant. By means of a warning, be sure to go to the Element check in desk on the second floor. We didn't realise that it was two hotels in one building and waited ages at the Courtyard check in counter on the ground floor before being redirected upstairs. What a difference too - we felt really welcome at the Element check in because the staff were much more friendly.

My family and I had a wonderful experience at this hotel - check-in, throughout, and check-out. Michael & Sheree at the front desk were a wonderful welcome each time - with a smile and an upbeat peraonality as soon as the elevator doors open. Kyle at the daily complimentary breakfast was a pleasant and positive start to each day - he was professional and friendly and seems to really care about taking care of guests. On day 1, we noticed how much the other guests were so happy and friendly with the staff - it shows that they treat everyone as well as we were treated. The hotel decor was calm and everything was very clean! The hotel is a literal 2 minute walk from the North Avenue MARTA station, nearby Midtown, where you can walk to many restaurants and bars, and an overall safe feeling neighborhood. There's a bar downstairs where we had a drink one night and the staff was also very friendly, we didn't get to try the food there, but plan to upon our return. There's a Publix about a 15-20 min walk away and a small mini mart across the street - the rooms have a full kitchen, fridge, pots, plates, toaster, etc. they have complimentary wine and charcuterie from Mon - Thurs in the lobby area, and have coffee, infused water and warm towels all day long. My one and only dislike was that the chef-prepared eggs were on available on Thursday (Friday was sweet crepes and Saturday was pancakes), and I would've preferred to start my day off with eggs and bacon rather than sweets - there are also cereals, bagels, toasts, fruits, yogurt bar, and oatmeal available daily. Overall, a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend to anyone planning a stay in Atlanta. Great job with staff training and maintaining a great company culture, I was impressed.
