Our stay at Sand River Elewana was extra special. The staff make every interaction something special. From the game drives, to the meal services, they are always accommodating and flexible. The staff truly go above and beyond to provide the vacation that you need!

We had the pleasure of staying at Sand River Masai Mara by Elewana for our visit to Kenya (11-02-23/11-05-23). I cannot say enough about the exceptional service we received during our stay at the camp. The room was FABULOUS, the food was AMAZING, and the service staff was beyond SPECTACULAR. Upon arrival you are immediately greeted by the General Manager Edison Komoro. Edison, was so gracious, informative, and so helpful during our stay. Within minutes he will mention you by first name every time he sees you. From there you are totally spoiled rotten by the service staff. I would like to give special mention to John, the Assistant General Manager, Jeco in the dining room (spoiled us rotten). Benjamin in the dining room (spoiled us rotten), Executive Chef Steven (who prepared the most yummy dishes) and Doctor Jim. (we did not plan on meeting Dr. Jim, but we are so glad he was there to assist us). Last, but, not least a very, very special shout out to Charles our Safari Guide. I have no words how great it was to be with him each day at 6:30am to go driving through the camp in search of the most beautiful animals in the world!! He was the BEST, BEST guide!!!! Our time spent at Sand River Masai Mara was beyond our expectations!! What an amazing experience!!! We loved every minute of our stay at the Sand River Masai Mara by Elewana.

Clean comfortable and luxurious tents. Amazing food, experienced, helpful and well informed staff. Their guides are very knowledgeable and dedicated to making sure you have a good viewing of the game. The lodge is accomoding to your requests and make you feel welcomed. Their safari vehicles are really comfortable and well equipped. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

My stay here was too short but it was amazing. Special thank you to our guides Charles, Joel, Alex, and Daniel (who was the only truck not stuck at a leopard sighting). The staff was also kind and made the trip very special, especially but not limited to: Jeremiah, Elisha, Nehemiah, Collin, and John my airport transfer who was so very kind. I was traveling solo on this portion of the trip and john made sure I got on the plane, waved when we taxied off and continued to wave until I was in the air!

As usual an Elewana property doesn't disappoint. The staff were super helpful, friendly (especially Collins) and service was excellent. The family tent is huge, comfortable and spacious. The game drives in their vehicle were amazing with Charles being an amazing guide.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
