Terrible stay. The hotel rooms don’t look like the pictures. The staff were friendly but both nights we were kept awake by loud guests upstairs, after the first the night the front desk staff assured us our loud neighbours had been told to check out, this predictably was a lie, told to us so we would go away and when we went to complain again at 10pm there are no staff on premises past 10pm so no one around to help or tell them to be quiet. Really disappointing as the rest of our experience in Sri Lanka has been amazing. The hotel rooms have single glazed glass fronts so you can hear EVERYTHING. Wouldn’t recommend staying here for a peaceful stay.

Charming views of the Ella's valley. Cozy room (I slept in front of the valley with the scenic views, I saw the sunrise twice in my bed). Good swimming pool and kind stuff. Plentiful breakfast.

The best view of sunset and sunrise here. Rooms are spacious and great for family stay. The pool was not very clean. Toilet was clean but the room was not very clean which was not very irritating because of view. The breakfast buffet was very simple and we couldn't find much options to eat

Lovely room walking straight out to the pool! Very clean and guy behind the desk gave us any extra things we needed (e.g. more tea bags). Pool was amazing and loved the view! Breakfast buffet was good, catering for both western and sri lankan options. We preferred to go to town for dinner to maximise our Ella experience. Theres a short cut along the train tracks! Also super easy to walk to 9 arch bridge, little adams peak and ella rock from here - no tuk tuk needed!

One point for the view and one for the staff. The rest was disappointing. The rooms are not clean, we had a used tea bag next to the tea pot, the sheets didn’t feel clean and the room was dusty. The pool was also dirty and so was the dining room. The rooms have shaky glass doors which are covered by ugly curtains. It feels like sleeping in a store’s showcase window. The food selection in the buffet was tiny and unbeatable, so we ordered rise curry and fish and chips from the menu, which unfortunately were also unbeatable and gave us a stomach ache. The place is hard to reach and is located close to Ella’s train rails and you can hear the whistle of the locomotive very often. The view from the front porch was uncanny and somewhat of a comfort. The service was good and the staff was very kind and polite, at least that made this place more cozy. The rooms, the facilities and the food were way below avarage. Bottom line - NOT RECOMMENDED.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. We will forward these requests to the hotel; however, please note that the hotel may or may not be able to accommodate them depending on availability at the time of check-in. Please be aware that fulfilling these requests may result in additional charges.

The hotel reserves the right of admission. The hotel may refuse to honour the booking if it determines that the property policies have been violated.

If the booking cannot be confirmed due to certain circumstances, Adani One will refund the entire amount to the original mode of payment.

If the hotel is unable to confirm or deny the booking, Adani One is not under any obligation to provide an alternate booking in lieu of the unconfirmed booking.

Adani One does not collect GSTIN details on behalf of the hotelier, you may request this information directly from the hotelier during the check-in process.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Refund amount may take 10 working days to process to the respective account from which the payment was made during the booking.

Please be informed that your bank may debit its own separate charges from refunds made to your credit card or bank account.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
