I booked a room with two beds through your Advance Purchase program for a month, expecting a comfortable and pleasant experience. Unfortunately, the reality was far from what I had anticipated. Upon check-in, I was shocked to find that the room was in deplorable condition. The bed sheets were unclean and emitted a foul odor, and the bathroom was in a state of disrepair, with ripped flooring and a leaking tub. The entire place reeked of cannabis, and the overall cleanliness was severely lacking. Due to the unhygienic conditions, I developed rashes from sleeping on the bed, further adding to my discomfort. In light of these issues, I immediately contacted the front desk to express my concerns and requested to cancel my reservation after just two days of my stay. To my astonishment, the front desk informed me that my reservation was made under the Advance Purchase program, which apparently does not allow for cancellations. In my frustration and desperation, I reached out to your central office service desk, only to be told that the discretion to cancel the reservation lies with the hotel. What troubles me most is that, at no point during the booking process, was I made aware of the n Advance Purchase mode as while booking in their website always selects the best offer. It is unreasonable to expect guests to thoroughly read through complex bylaws or cancellation policies without even knowing in what mode the purchase has been made . This crucial information should have been transparently provided during the booking process, ensuring that guests are fully informed. My stay at your establishment has cost me a significant amount of money – $3,300 for 28 days. The hotel's refusal to refund any portion of this amount, despite the horrendous conditions and the physical discomfort I endured, feels like a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. This is not the level of service I expected, and it is a clear breach of trust. As a result of this experience, I am left with no choice but to pursue legal action against the hotel to recover the unjust forfeiture of my funds and seek compensation for the distress and discomfort I endured during my stay.
