Easy checking no issues very friendly staff, they do have only one elevator which has seen better days. The rooms are okay not great but gets the job done. They do have a bar open until 8pm which is nice that way we can have peace and quite at night. Their gym is downstairs next to the breakfast area it’s a bit small place and with dumbbells missing. The breakfast here is not good at all especially for the price of accommodation, they really need to improve in their food options. I have stayed at numerous hotels with way better breakfast than this place, the breakfast here seems like a school cafeteria sad to say. Kids enjoyed the pool and their pool towels are next to the bar left corner. Overall okay place, quiet, and short drive to old town Key West.

The staff was friendly and helpful, except the manager, more that below. Like the shuttle to downtown, very convenient. The room was nice. The floors were nasty. After walking barefoot, only in the room bottoms of feet were black. The hotel is older like a lot of Florida hotels but needed better cleaning. The fitness room was despicable. It had not been cleaned in months. The dust layers were thick. I took the Manager aside to express my concern and I showed her pics. This was on day two and went back in on day four and nothing had been done!! I am planning to share photos with corporate. This is below any level of acceptability.of anywhere I have ever stayed. It is a nice hotel but lacks responsible leadership.

This is a challenge of a rating to give. Aspects of this Fairfield are great for some things being okay. Ellen, McKinley and Henney were exceptional for front desk service. Professional plus going over and above for treatment of us during two week stay. The rooms are a bit dated with some need of paint or minor repairs, furniture is worn. We were upgraded to a suite with a view of the pool and that was excellent. The pool is one of the best features for its size and ambience. The $25 per day amenity fee is part of the deal. With this vans are provided to Old Town Key West and another to Smathers Beach. Towels provided for the beach plus a chair. Return trips are also provided from the same place as drop off. We received 2 for 1 drink tickets for the tiki bar located at the hotel. This is also where breakfast occurs each day. Also part of the fee. The bar is open from noon to 8/9 pm each evening. This was nice as a starting or ending point to the evening. Bartenders of Miranda, Shelly and Angelica were very nice and friendly. All have interesting stories on their journey to Key West and being a resident. The Internet and cable TV were a disappointment because both were weak and not very good. Had to go to a Starbucks or library for a decent Internet connection. Location is somewhat of a challenge if interested in going to Old Town of Key West. Recommend getting bicycles or a scooter for your stay. We used Key West transit for on demand services and that was helpful. Not walkable for most things one would do in Key West. Overall I would stay in this hotel again.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. The shuttle was super convenient. The drivers were not very friendly. One almost rear ended someone because he was on his phone so that’s cool. The bartender at the tiki bar, Ed, was the best he was so friendly. The rooms could have been cleaned better. The pool kinda grossed me out. Our last night there I was sitting in a lounge chair and something caught my eye moving next to me. I thought it was a lizard (they are everywhere I loved them) I look again and it is a rat. Overall the place was kinda nasty but the rat really set it off.

Worst place to pick in key west. There are many better options than this one, please pick those. It’s not a hotel. It’s a motel with fancy make-up, Buildings are not well maintained. We went out for our new years. And all want we wanted to do was sleep in this hotel. Which is next to impossible with roosters going all night long. This Marriott does not live up to its name. Shameful experience, We couldn’t sleep and there is not a lot the staff will do.
