It’s a super good location hotel , walking distance to shopping mall and 外滩. Also one of my most favorite jazz bar old man Jazz bar is here too. Antique hotel 95 years. Just to experience the uniqueness of the historical building. The recent famous drama series 繁华 was firm here too. Also many famous presidents from all over the world stayed here before . Hotel room is small , breakfast is nice cos many varieties and many unique local food available. Taste is good . If u wan feel the ancient shangai room Can stay here . Many antiques is displayed in the hotel corners . Interesting hotel .

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in September of 2023 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful hotel. The service was excellent and our room with a view of the river was fantastic. I am glad we have a 10 year Chinese Visa because I am sure we will return to Shanghai and stay at the Peace Hotel.

My friend recommended Fairmont Peace Hotel for my return trip next week as we are staying at The Peninsula Shanghai for this week visit. We dropped tonight 10pm (16th Nov) explore to visit the Old Jazz for drink and very surprised the Door Man declined our visit for drink and he concluded all F&B outlets closed. Doubts he is aware Old Jazz close 00 hours. We have being travelling worldwide staying different Hotels to super luxury hotels never being declined at any Hotel Entrance. This is shocking as it reflects poor hotel hospitality assigning a untrained Man as door man more likely unprofessional trained security man checking on every visitors/Guests entering the Hotel. "Fairmont Peace Hotel Shanghai" process super poor hospitality compare with The Peninsula Shanghai with professional hospitality from Door Man to all staff.

This is my second stay at the Fairmont Peace Hotel. The first was two nights in September with my stepson. Thus visit is for five nights with two rooms for four people (me, my wife, her mama and her son). We always enjoy the Fairmont Gold service. The Fairmont Gold Lounge is awedome. Lication is tops, and all the staff know each of us now. And some remember me and my stepson from 2 months ago. Oh, and the Old Jazz Bar is a great experience too. Thanks to all the staff, and especially the Fairmont Gold crew and 'Uncle' Edward Yao! We will be back!

Such an iconic hotel!!! Super great location right on the bund! must to visit the Fairmont Peace Hotel and its Jazz Band if you travel Shanghai.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
