Unlike other western hotel brands in Brasil, this one lives up to the expectation of a proper 5 star hotel. Service is top notch, the rooms are comfortable and well maintained and the entertainment and food all meet expectations. There are two beautiful pools and as expected, they're the perfect place to lounge around for the day. The spa was also lovely and I recommend getting a massage if you need a good proper one. The only downside for me was the breakfast was average. This isn't necessarily an issue with the Fairmont but Rio in general as there's something missing in the quality of the meat dishes if you're used to western breakfasts. Overall a great stay and highly recommended!

Beautiful rooms and hotel. Staff are very eager to help. Beautiful pools and view. Check in can be slow but I believe this is due to government requirements, taking copies of ID etc. On the down side the bar/ front pool is often busy with guests not staying at the hotel so good luck getting a seat on the weekend. Also the sound was very loud. We had arrived from Europe where we are 4hrs behind. Tried sleeping but the music went on until midnight. Had to change room on the next day. Staff were very empathetic about it though.

I loved everything about my stay at Fairmont Rio de Janeiro. The service was overall great. There are two pools. The one facing copacabana is outstanding. It gets very crowded, but if you can get a sunbed it is amazing. Food and drinks are really nice and well priced! The room is nice too!!

This is an excellent hotel property, right on the Copacabana Beach (across the street) and all the excitement and activity there. Really feels like the center of Rio, and I was very happy with the selection of this property for my stay. The restaurants and bars are really swanky and nice, with infinity pool, great seating options, and really good drink options.

✅ GREAT BREAKFAST AND AMAZING VIEW ✅ I went to this place to celebrate a friends birthday. We love breakfast and we were so happy that the breakfast, service and environment was soooo good. Arriving by car they offer a service to park your car in a safe place (I think). It costs R$50 reais for the time you stay there. The breakfast selection was outstanding! They have all kinds of breads, tradicional salty bread and, my favourite ones, sweet bread. You’ll find all kinds of fruit too, here in Brazil we’re blessed on the countless fruits we have access to, daily. Also, if you want omelets, tapiocas, a special request, anything fresh, they have a chef preparing everything in front of you! My experience was amazing! I can’t complain about anything! Even things that usually annoys me, at that time I didn’t feel bothered because they make an extra effort to make it right. I totally recommend it!

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
