        we booked with them through airbnb. The place was tiny, but clean. we arrived and we had to wait around half an hour to get checked in. the night was really hard cause the neighbours upstairs is like living with you, it gets too loud, both through the building and from outside. after contacting them about our struggles sleeping they promised to change us room and they never replied again. That being said the place was in a great area but we had a place on the groundfloor with no view, or even the possibility to open the blinds without being literally view to everyone on the street.

        Beautiful room. Kitchen was nicely stocked. We were on the top floor so we had a great view. Hotel is very close to the castle. The only issue we had was there was a thumping noise related to the living room ac unit, we think. We turned it off and it eventually stopped. Bedroom ac was fine. There was some noise from the construction across the street. We understand that there is a lot of work being done in Lisbon to revitalize the area.

        Unresponsive, inflexible. I booked a room over a month in advance, and realized I booked the wrong night. I sent a message to the Dalma Flats team requesting a change in the night, and several days later they replied that I needed to work through the third party site where I had made the reservation. I worked with the third party site, for over 30 minutes on the phone, while they repeatedly tried to call Dalma Flats. Eventually they were able to connect and the person at Dalma said they have no authority to change or cancel my night. Many days later I received an email from the third party booking site that said that Dalma Flats has responded that they have no rooms available the nights that I'm in town (the 3 nights before the one I booked) and that they were unwilling to cancel & refund my evening. Pfft, this is just poor service (and greedy). You've received more than enough time in advance and had no other nights available - you should not treat customers this way. Big thumbs down.

        We had a really great stay at Dalma. The hostess & hosts were really nice and helpful. We were staying in the appartment on the top floor. The living room was nice and the bed very nice and spacious. When you step out of the door you step right away in Alfama neighborhood. Keep in mind that the appartment doesn't have a reception, so you have to go to the hotel (150 m) or contact the hostess. The only suggestion I have is to add the route (via public transport) in the website. Concluding, we had a great time and would recommend everyone to stay here if you go to Lissbon. Jorn & Bianca
