        This hotel has exemplary customer service. Every employee (8 total) I came across was kind and friendly. My husband needed surgery at Sharp down the street, and I didn't have the funds to spend an additional $100 a night for the Marriot a little further down. The facility esthetically needs some changes and updates, but it seems they are making some modifications. The room had a fridge, microwave, smart TV (that you could easily stream from), free wifi, and there was even a complementary water. There are some things wrong that you could expect when paying for a "cheaper" hotel. The beds are also comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was fantastic (I like a higher water pressure). I did not eat in the restaurant, use the fitness center, or go to the bar, so I cannot give any feedback or evaluation for those. There are plenty of restaurants and resources all around the area, as well. In summary: I am not giving 5 stars because this is a 5 star hotel. The esthetic misses were completely overridden by the staffs kindness and friendliness. If you're looking for gold chariots and updated appliances, this may not be the place for you. For what I paid, I was more than satisfied with my stay.

        So I booked early check in and said I’d be here at 12pm, 2 hours later and still waiting. The cleaning staff seems really slow. Also, walking around there are a LOT of renovations needed. Paint chipping, water damage and so on. It’s a great location and front desk staff are nice but I expect more from a Sheraton. I wanted to give them a try, usually I’m a Hilton customer. Guess I’ll be sticking with my go to Hilton brand. I’m here for work and always ask for early check in. Mind you, I arrived at 11am and let them know I was here and I’d pay whatever the fee was. I just need to sit and work. It just seems subpar at best. Not a big fan. I have you a try Marriott Bonvoy but I don’t think I’ll be returning.

        Hotel is in desperate need of some renewing. Windows where stuck and really hard to open. Floors are slanted down. Doors aren’t lining up with the floor/door trim. There is about an inch gap between the floor and the bottom of the door so you hear everything going on outside of your room. Doors opening and closing, people walking, talking etc. Ventilation is also zero to non except for a really load unit in the room. Expect about a gallon of condensation on the windows and on the floor near it. Bathroom also have some cracked tiles and don’t even get me started on the ceiling in the hallway, cracks, missing pieces etcetera. The people at the front desk where however very nice and helpful. Don’t expect a lot of rest here. But you have some really friendly staff.

        Krystal L. and Andrew at the front desk are real gems. The hotel, however, is in need of serious updates. The ventilation system, for starters, is poor. While there for an event, I noticed the hotel was always warm, very little A/C, and the carpets had odor. I, along with my roommates, woke up feeling stuffy. It's almost as if there could be mold or something else going on because as I went outside away from this place, I felt fine. The rooms were worse. The rooms are hot and stuffy, with musty smelling carpets. The sink drain would get clogged easily. The beds are older and lumpy, and the other furniture in the room had obvious ware and should be replaced. The restaurant breakfast buffet was not worth the money. They charged $22 for warm food and $12 for a bare minimum continental breakfast,which should have been free. The "warm food" was only eggs, bacon, potatoes, and oatmeal. They would not deviate from this as the explanation was "its because this is big a event." The next day, we went out for breakfast and other meals. The lunch and dinner were okay, but still overpriced. The staff, I can say, are great, but if you need a place to stay, I do not recommend this hotel. This hotel needs serious renovations.

        Enjoyed my stay here recently. Front desk team was great and friendly. Speedy check in process. Didn't get to enjoy any meals onsite but enjoyed the coffee that was served each morning. It's a really big hotel with atriums and various hallways for the rooms. Room was comfortable. Big TV. Enjoyed the in room coffee as well with some down time watching TV. Old Town, Little Italy, Mission Beach, Gas Lamp, Downtown and other attractions are within 15-20 minute drive. There's a Hawaiian Restaurant 6 minute drive from hotel called Homestyle Hawaiian. They're deep fried musubis are worth a try. 5*. Overall enjoyed my experience at this hotel. Thanks for everything!
