        Terrible! Avoid this place! This is not a hotel, this is a prison. You get 3 keys + a 7 digits password to access through the plenty locked doors. L No reception. Stinky rooms. We came for 3 nights and ran away after the first night, and the hotel team didn't agreed to refund us the money we paid for the 2 next nights on their jail... We went to another regular hotel, and actually payed twice.

        I'm not sure about this hotel so here the general things: 1. The hotel is an apart-hotel, it operates in a regular apartment building. You need 3 set of keys and a code to enter your room. 2. The room (deluxe) was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. 3. The shower did have hot water, but not hot enough, the current is a little weak as well. Since the shower is spacious and the water are not too hot, it doesn't heat the room and you can get cold. 4. There's no light in the closet and exposed cables instead. 🔴 THE CRITICAL THINGS 🔴 1. The hotel doesn't have a receptionist after 3pm (or at all, not sure) If you need anything you need to text someone and don't expect to get an answer or a solution very quickly. This is a main drawback ill refer to later. IF YOU GET THERE IN THE MIDDLE OF NIGHT - EXPECT ISSUES 2. There's no luggage room, you can leave your things at the front desk but there is no one there to look out for them. 3. Once you checked out - you have no way to access the building without a receptionist. You need to text. We waited 40 mins for someone to open the door to pick up our bags. 4. There hotel is on the second and third floor (technically 3rd and 4th), there's an elevator but it's very very very small.

        The best thing about this hotel is its central location. If you find this important and don’t care about everything else, you can stop reading here otherwise please continue. First of all, the name is so misleading. - Design: not sure where this fits in as the only design element we could detect in the hotel were the Flos IC lights in the room. Ikea, although offering affordable trendy furniture, is not what I had in mind nor kids’ paintings on the wall. - Hotel: this is NOT a hotel so don’t market it as one. It’s an airbnb with cleaning service at best. You have to call (or whatsapp) x times in advance if you want to checkin or checkout. When calling to see if we could checkout we were told to just leave the keys and luggage at the unmanned reception desk, because cleaning crew only arrived at 11h and they handled checkout. Okay fine, but weird! Then let’s move on to the rest of our stay which was below mediocre. Our room smelled like cigarettes, there were stains on the couch & chairs, mold on the shower head, air-conditioning wasn’t working (we visited in March and room temperature was around 26°C, can you imagine what this is like in summer?!) and windows are not at all soundproofed. During the weekend there’s a lot of street noice (people shouting, partying, drinking, loud music playing,…), which is fine if windows would close properly or would be soundproofed. Not the case for G55! It felt like people were standing next to your bed, yelling, blasting music, …. This made it impossible to sleep well.

        AVOID BOOKING HERE!!! Not worth your money. We’ve booked a room with three beds and got offered a couch. After complaining we received a folding bed. This is not acceptable for 100€/night per person! One of us ate chips from the mini bar and was vomiting the whole night since they’ve been expired! Service has been bad, too - they let us wait for 30 min for check out. Spend your money somewhere else!
