        WARNING - THIS IS AN EMERGENCY HOUSING MOTEL Unfortunately we made the mistake of booking a room here only to find out later in the night that these guys house emergency tenants. It’s fairly obvious that this is the case with loud banging and screaming coming from all different rooms throughout the night and people with ankle bracelets walking the corridors at all hours. Also, the rooms are pretty rough (About what I would expect for a backpackers). The only thing this place has going for it is the location, it’s a close walk to most of what the CBD has to offer but that is literally it, nothing else positive about the experience. Just do yourselves a favour and avoid this place at all costs. Yes it is cheap, but it is cheap for a reason & not worth risking your safety for.

        Management does nothing to direct unruly guests, making for an unpleasant stay for other guests and neighbouring residents. Rooms are, could have been cleaned better. Honestly, prices are similar to most in the area you're better off going elsewhere unless you're stuck. Do not recommend!

        The carpet in the room was damp and there was a smell. Worst experience was when we lost the room key. We were levied with a very hefty surcharge of NZD150, which was ridiculous. The hotel should not take advantage of such unfortunate incidences. The counter staff was friendly and helpful, though.

        The rooms on A floor great! Very clean city views on one side where my room was request the A floor. Staff are superb! very professional and always there to help. There is a nice front garden area and picnic tables out on street side! Would recommend this place for the A floor I was on anyway as each floor seems quite different. Any problems with yr room they were happy to negotiate. 😊

        Some dodgy looking people staying there. Place was average. But our room had a strong smell of urine. Language barrier with staff but we got there in the end. The lady on reception was awesome.

          Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.
